Anniversary dinner

I made a reservation last minute and what a treat! Awesome service from the monent we walked in! Best ribs ive ever had, we were taking tastes of each others meals as it was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend!

Fantastic!

My first visit to Jackson's was last night with friends from Nelson. I've got nothing but great things to say about the food and the service here! I had the Smokey Chicken Carbonara, and it was the best pasta dish I have every tasted, and...I've tasted a lot, loL. And the service - Amazing! The bartender had a knife incident early in our experience, but the rest of the staff, especially Mariah, stepped up to the plate and in spite of the full pub, managed to get everyone watered and fed in a timely fashion. You Need to Eat Here! :-)More

Terrible service! Avoid this place!

Ordered take out dinner via their online menu and at pick up, was charged $20+ higher! Manager refused to honour the prices on THEIR online menu and had an awful attitude. Went somewhere else that provides honest prices and values their customers!More

Great atmosphere with good food.

Happened across this little gem walking back to our Hotel. The first day we popped in for a cocktail and loved the ambiance. We returned the next night for dinner and were very pleased with both the food and the price. Staff were awesome as...well. Highly recommended if you're in the area.More

Good place for a group

Came with a group of friends. Standard comfort food but well prepared and efficiently served when dealing with a large number. Lots of people eating and can be noisy therefore but still a very good atmosphere. Friendly. Don't think we would recommend it for an...intimate setting.More

Good pub food

Good quality pub food. Good service. Reasonable menu choice. Enjoyable visit for a lunch time quick bite to eat. Not sure it is one of the highest rating places in Nelson but we would recommend

Great food, value and atmosphere

We had the Jackson's Hole loaded burger and the prawns with noodles. These were both incredibly delicious, large portion and very well priced. We will definetly be coming back here whenever we are in Nelson. The restaurant/lounge feels like a ski lodge and is very...comfortable. Our wait staff was very friendly and took great care of us while we were there.More

Good Food and Service

The food was good and there were good sized portions. The server was friendly and was happy to serve us. They have a few tables on the sidewalk/patio to sit at so you don’t have to go inside the restaurant. The place got busier around...6:30 during the week. The menu has a good variety and a good selection of kids meals. The only point to note was that the kids grilled cheese only had one piece of cheese in it.More

Fantastic Service, great food

Had dinner here to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The waitress was attentive and ensured our evening was enjoyable. Some of the best customer service I have had in a long time. I would definitely go to this establishment again. Thank-you for the service.

Always Perfect

Another great meal. We go to this pub every time we are in Nelson and it never disappoints. Lettuce wraps were great and Cobb salad was huge and tasty staff always friendly.

Great for the Whole Family

CJ Manager. The food is an acceptable quality for Nelson's average pubs, but not great in my opinion. Thus the 3 star rating sticks. However I still eat there from time to time and you will have a chance to improve this rating. The menu is not daring in any way and the food is your average Sysco quality. As a long time cook it's easy for me to pick these things out. Try putting some fresh ideas on the menu and source more quality/local stuff and a cook like me will be thrilled.
