Five of us went here for High Tea in January of 2020. The pictures show the good variety of sandwiches and sweets. We would have enjoyed more sandwiches as most of us don't have a sweet tooth, but the scones were very fresh and tasty....I know that high tea in Victoria is just over $80, so I thought $28 per person was very reasonable. The food is well made, although the sandwiches may not be very fancy. I would recommend this high tea for anyone who wants to try it, I don't think you will find a better value locally. Nice selection of teas, I enjoyed the spiced orange tea, and can say the carrot cake is really great, and the icing is not too sweet. You will be full when you leave, lots to eat.More

My sandwich I ordered to go was made in less than 5 minutes. The veggies on the sandwich were made fresh and the bread was lovely. Very friendly service and I definitely would go back.

Tried this place twice. Once for lunch and once just for coffee. Lunch was ok. I had quiche which left me wanting more food. Unusual for me. My dh had a soup and sandwich. He said his was good. Coffee was luke warm and when...I mentioned this to the server upon paying she just kind of shrugged her head. For what we had the bill was over #30 which for a light lunch I found to be a bit high. We went back another time for coffee and something sweet. The coffee was better - it was hot and the scone and cream was tasty but again I found for what had the price was high.More

The breakfast sandwich is the best! Very good coffee and nice selection of teas in china cups. Reminds me of tea with my grandma.

We were in Mission exploring and came upon this place. Its very cosy, very comfy and is like an old welcome. Friendly service. Good food. We had the mushroom quiche, the daily vegetable soup, 2 coffees ($1 each!) and a scone that came with fluffy...cream and yummy jam. The scone is very light which we liked. Loved the ambience and the atmosphere. Old furniture and nice art for sale on the walls. Would like to come back for their afternoon tea next time.More

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation & reviews. The sandwiches were tasteless & appallingly bad. The bread tasted stale & the filling in the sandwiches was negligible. For example, the cucumber sandwich had nothing but 3 thin slices of cucumber & some...butter. The pastries were excessively high in sugar & dry. The tea pot was dirty. For 3 people it cost us over $100. including a 15% tip. We could have gone out to a decent restaurant & had a nice lunch for less money. Overall, extremely disappointing.More

We went out for a drive ended up in Mission walking the Main Street. My wife saw a sign for English Tarts. We looked inside and saw a clean eclectic Teahouse decor. We stopped in for tea and ended up having lunch. Home Made roast beef...with horse radish so fresh. My wife really enjoyed her tea many so many choices. I had a carrot cake for dessert so fresh. Worth a visitMore
