Not only was the sushi beautifully made—it was delicious. When I saw the server put in the ginger in my takeout bag, I mentioned that I appreciated that they used the good stuff—not the dyed pink stuff. She said that they bought the more expensive type and proceeded to give me EXTRA! It was a delicious accompaniment to my meal. And tempura was lightly battered and not greasy. Yum!
In town for a meeting but will make the drive from the Okanagan to visit and enjoy again.

As a very particular person as far as food goes, I was impressed with the menu and even more with the flavors. I appreciate the time it takes to present a meal that makes a patron want to come back. The menu is varied and leaves little to be desired. We love good food and this is one of the best.

I love Sushi. I normally order sushi in Vancouver as I know they have a good handle on it. My husband knew I was in crave stage, so we went to Garden Sushi. We were both a) surprised at the selection b) impressed with the service c) amazed at the food. Worth an extra stop on the trip from Vancouver to Anywhere.

They were awesome even short handed they took care of our group We we’re an unexpected group of 14 and had no problems getting fit in or fed They were apologetic that was slower but they were missing two servers and a chef

It is so long we have not have any sushi since we left Vancouver ,lady from the center told us this place ,so we drop in for lunch ,very quiet ,decor is okay but clean .,menu is well laid out ,nor that expensive at all , I was really surprise the Sashimi is very fresh do not taste like froze fish , ,the Tempura Prawn not greasy at all , the quality is equal or better to any big city sushi restaurants , ,compliments to the chef !

The servers come with a side of attitude and when given peanut sauce instead of teriyaki I was told I was wrong and this was the sauce all hot plates were served with. Meanwhile my partners tasted normal. When they tasted and realized they had put the wrong sauce on they did not offer to replace the dish that was made incorrectly, but offered 10%off our bill.
The rolls tasted fishy and the service was extremely slow in a resturant of 2 other couples. Will not be returning. Shame, this place used to be really good.

A friend and I travelling through Merritt were in the mood for sushi and so happy to discover this find. I ordered a salmon maki roll and was totally pleased. We shared a mixed tempura selection and I'm happy to report it wasn't greasy or heavy and as Goldilocks said in the Three Bears fairy tale..."It's just right".

the restaurant was warm inside but they opened the door and there was a breeze which was nice to hae , the meal was ok the bento boxes were good and hot plates were good and maki was ok but could of been bigger as I have had bigger...overall was okay

Sushi is always a treat but this little place did an exceptional job of out meal. We were served by a pleasant waitress but the chef just pushed the meal over the top. Food was fresh, very well presented, and prepared fast. Quality and quantity were good. We shall return and I recommend this place.

First the service. After 25 minutes we received our drinks, then 20 minutes later our bento boxes arrived but without the rolls. We were told they were behind on making the rolls. The did arrive 10-15 minutes later. On top of the bad service the food was not good.
