Honestly the worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. The chop suet was literally noodles and cabbage with a few pieces of chicken. No sauce. The almond chicken was greasy breaded chicken with no sauce. We couldn’t finish our meals. Prawn with vegetable was super fresh and hot, plenty of prawns. Good free wifi, lady doesn't speak a lot of english so just let her enter the wifi code for you. ;) Would like to see some fish on the menu aside from sweet &...sour, but for a quick and healthy lunch I was pleased with this.More

Went there for lunch place was empty, all fine but it was very quiet that I sat eating my lunch listening to the waitress sniff every minute it was disgusting! blow your nose your a grown women and for that matter why are you there...serving food? then when I asked her for a to go container because I was grossed right out my response from her was "What" all I said was excuse me? Ya i will not ever go there again or recommed it, quite honestly I took the leftovers to be polite but they are going in the trashMore

I was travelling through Merritt and craved chinese food. This restaurant offers Western Chinese. I ordered a take-out combination dinner from here and it was 'just' edible. Chow mein tasted old and reheated. Chicken balls tasted of stale grease and the sweet & sour sauce...was sparse. I am sure there are better places to eat in Merritt.More

Ordered takeout from here twice and consistently disappointed. First visit the shrimp & mushroom fried rice was bland - had to add soy sauce to enhance it. Thing is, I ordered shrimp & mushroom chow mein, but didn't say anything as I also like fried...rice. Well, not this one. The 2nd experience was more unsettling. While waiting for my food (wasn't ready on time), I noticed they slightly overcharged me. Not a big deal and wasn't looking for a refund, but just thought I'd point it out because of the price discrepancy on the menu. The guy kept telling me that that price didn't include tax. I told him the total was still incorrect. I only ordered 2 items so told him to add them together and add 5% GST to see what the total should be. He still couldn't get it. More disturbing is that he made no effort to socially distance from me while talking, and wasn't wearing a mask. None of the staff were for that matter, including the cooking staff (his parents) in the kitchen. I would have been more forgivable if the chow mein was good, but it too was bland. And spring rolls saturated with grease. The combination of bland food and lack of Covid precautions is a big red flag. Stay Away! Their competition, Crystal Restaurant, has a much more flavorful chow mein with a generous serving of shrimp. And they are taking Covid more seriously.More

We only started ordering from here when COVID had set in and they were reopen for take out only. The food is amazing, fresh, tasty, and you get lots. We have been back 4 times since April and it's been great every time.

We were met by a "senior" delivery boy who was rather loud to say the least. He certainly didn't add to our "quiet dinner out". The egg fuyung was OK but asked for brown sauce and it came swimming in it. We ordered a #...3 and a # 4, neither dish was anything to write home about. We will not return and we won't recommend for sure. Quite tasteless food to say the least. Instead of the "senior" waiting tables they really do need better staff. Let him do the deliveries.More

Although language was a slight complication, we requested a chicken dish that is not on their regular menu. They met the request by asking for clarity and taking the challenge on. They created the dish and it was great! Thank you.

What a joke! Tried phoning 20 times no answer after 5 pm. Should be dinner but no service. Lost my business

First time and we could not have been more pleased with everything! Not just the best Chinese food in Merritt but likely the entire province! Service was great, food was just wonderful and the many pleased patrons made it a great meal! Quiet and simple...but very clean and welcoming and the taste would be worth a drive from Vancouver. So glad we stopped in as this was the best meal we have had in this area! It was just the 2 of us but they offer a buffet specially made just for your party if that is what you prefer. Great variety freshly made and at great prices too. Many came to pick up their take-out when we were there. Each dish was tastier than the one before it and the portions were so large even on just the combination dinners that we had enough to take home to have another meal. In downtown Merritt with ample free parking. Just a really nice time and we will definitely go back any time we are even close. Very reasonable pricing on all choices.Management could not do enough to please us. Coffee was especially good and did not stop.More

Love this spot. Broke down in Merritt, late and the restaurant had just closed, but the owner said he would bring me some food.... dinner for one, reasonable price, very fresh, great taste.

Went for lunch today....café is clean and the lady serving us was friendly and polite. The food was hot and delicious and lots of it !!!! We will be going back.
