This is a charming little place at the end of the main street. The patio is shaded with big trees and inside, the AC works very well. The food is fabulous and take out is an option. This place serves the best naan we have every had, and their curry dishes are sensational.

We thoroughly enjoyed a dinner at Spice Hut on our little Kootenays Ski Trip.
It is a nice, clean, little room. The Staff are courteous and very pleasant.
We ordered the Vegetable Pakoras, Chicken Biryani, Chana Masala, Chai Tea, Naan and Tandoori Prawns. Upon returning, we would reorder everything except the Prawns, which were a bit of weak dish.
It will definitely be on our list for a return visit.

We came in for lunch before we left town and were pleasantly surprised! Service was quick and the waitress was very nice. We had veggie pakora, butter chicken and lamb jalfrezi, raita, naan, rice and mango lassi. All the food was great and this is coming from someone who eats a lot of Indian food.
Would definitely stop here again if I was in town!

This food was ordered for takeout . The beef samosas were great and I wish that’s all we ordered . Hi he butter chicken is like ketchup and the chicken does not seem like real chicken ? Soft squishy texture . The naan bread is soggy and the beef tikka tandoori was fatty and dry and awful . Do not waste your money !!!!!!! We threw it out .

Our server was very attentive and helpful in choosing delicious food. The fresh baked nan was the best I’ve ever tasted. The meat dish wasn’t too spicy for my wife and I was provided some hot sauce to add a little heat.

We had food over here today. The menu had lots of variety. We never had mango curry before, it was super delicious. Chicken Masala was perfect too. Garlic nan was very fresh and tasty. Only our rice which was very delicious, was very cold that we had to ask to heat it up. In total, it was a great experience

Went with my son on a ski vacation. He lives locally and this is a favourite spot for people in this area. The menu was very large and extensive with all kinds of options you don't usually see at most Indian places. The food was great and the service top notch. Would suggest to anyone in the area.

Food was mediocre, waitress was basically taking the food from our mouths Trying to clean our table while we were still eating. Mentioned to her we were still eating, she got snotty with me and stormed off. She came back with the bill and was even more snotty. I don’t recommend this place. Also no air conditioning in this place, it was 33 Celsius. They sat us at a table that was filthy. Had to wait 5 minutes for them to come around and clean the table they sat us at

Food was good..but the girls (Indian girls one of them with red bangles)who were taking order and serving food were very rude and unprofessional. They need to work on their skills and etiquettes. It was my first and last visit on spice hut at Invermere. Have very bad experience because customer service.

Because we have a time share in Fairmont where we go every year we have tried pretty much every restaurant there is in Invermere. Last visit we thought we'd try one of the few relatively newer restaurants we had not yet tried. The Spice Hut was absolutely wonderful and delicious. My wife had the butter chicken and I tried the mango curry chicken. Both dishes were absolutely full of flavour and the pricing was reasonable. A very nice touch was the spice rating on each dish you could ask for from 1 to 5. My wife likes less spice than me so she ordered a 2 and I ordered a 3. It was perfect. Service was friendly and prompt. .

We were the only table in the restaurant on NYE at 5:00 pm. We couldn’t make eye contact with anyone to take our order after 30 minutes of waiting. This is clearly a take out restaurant. The food is excellent. We would only use this for take out orders in future.

This is a beautiful, quiet, little restaurant, offering some much needed ethnic variety from most of the other restaurants around Invermere.
The food is delicious and well prepared, the service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.
The choice to include Italian dressing for the salad in an Indian restaurant raises an eyebrow, but overall it works.
The food is plentiful and filling, to the point where I couldn’t find room for the Kheer I was looking forward to after samosas and tandoori lime chicken tikka.

My wife and I dropped into this restaurant on a whim when we couldn't get in to a different place. What an amazing bit of luck!! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The vegetable samosas were really good and the tandoori chicken was amazing.
I would HIGHLY recommend stopping in to this restaurant if you are in Invermere and enjoy Indian food. The spice level was really nice (we ordered a 4 out of 5), the flavours were great and the portions were perfect!!

This is a good restaurant with good food.
Why am I writing this review?
On their website it indicates they deliver. Tonight we were anticipating eating their Indian cuisine. However I was totally disappointed when I called to place our order, and was advised that they no longer have this service.
What a let down. Not impressed!

We have never found another Indian cuisine restaurant in Canada as good as this one since moving there. Our food was tasty and quick to teach us. The peshawari naan is the best we have ever had ,and we had lots of it when back in the UK. Thanks to the staff and chef for a great experience.
