We stopped for lunch as we were on our way to Banff. My cheeseburger and fries were very nice but really large. We probably could have shared a plate. My husband’s chicken sandwich was great. Service was prompt and very friendly.

We stopped here after reviewing some menus around Fairmont and Invermere! This place did not disappoint ! The special was chicken parmesan and my husband had the smoky river burger. Portions were huge and wow... delicious food! Highly recommend!

We live in Alberta and travel to Cranbrook almost monthly to see our grandkids. We travel with a Jack Russell pup. We always stop at this restaurant on our way home. In the summer time our pup is welcome on the deck and the staff...always brings him a bowl of water right away. The service has always been excellent and the food is really good too! They even make Duke a puppy burger and baby ice cream bowl on request. Fantastic job guys, keep up the exceptional work!!More

Last year we came here for dinner while in the area and it was excellent! The food the service was just fantastic. This year we couldn't wait to return. My Wife and I came in around 8PM and unfortunately this experience wasn't so good. We...were seated fairly quickly and then it took approximately 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table. We were greeted by Trista and she took our order. My Wife ordered the spicy chicken and prawn curry dish and said it was delicious. She also ordered a beer and we never got that despite reminding our waitress once about this. She also ordered a Caesar salad and never got that either. We also ordered a meat lovers pizza which we planned to mostly take to the hotel with us for later. The pizza was also very good. The problem was with my meal. I ordered a half order of the nachos and asked for no jalapenos and no peppers of any kind. I received the large not the half order and it was buried with more banana peppers and jalapenos than I have ever seen. I also asked to add beef for $3 and got chicken added instead. The receipt even says beef. We were on the road all day and my Wife prevented me from saying anything because she didn't want to raise a fuss or get the girl in trouble. I couldn't eat the nachos at all, which was a total of $31, and my Wife was upset. We didn't get charged for her beer nor the salad but the receipt shows a large order of nachos. Not a very pleasant experience to say the least. It was a big let down compared to last year.More

Our family spends a lot of time in the valley but haven't ventured out to too many restaurants. This week we decided to try one new restaurant each day. Rocky River Grill was by far our favourite! Based on the extensive and affordable menu, I...was expecting Boston Pizza-level (mediocre) quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food very tasty and refined! Service was also excellent. I wanted a basic meat and potatoes supper and food a chicken breast meal with a delicious spinach and artichoke sauce served with a fine baked potato and the largest serving of perfectly stir fried mixed veggies I have ever seen at a restaurant. My husband and I came here for lunch after reading the many positive reviews on trip advisor. We were seated outside. There were 2 other parties on the patio. The hostess gave us menus. We waited. And we waited. While the waitress came out to...check on the 2 other groups on the patio at least twice, she completely ignored us. No hello, no waters, no eye contact, nothing. After a solid 15 minutes we left. We will not be back.More

When we're on vacation, we like to sleep in and finding a restaurant that serves late breakfast is not always easy. This little spot served breakfast till 1pm, which worked out wonderfully for us. The food and service were totally awesome. The only thing I...would recommend to the owner is to spend the money for some upgrades and better cleaning. The place is starting to get a little grungy looking with torn seats, filthy walls, benches and tables. During these times of Covid, I was a little surprised to see how dirty it was. Excellent option for dinner on Sunday’s when little else is an option in Invermere. Helpful, friendly staff and excellent food options including happy hours apps (dumplings and wings delicious), amazing salads, huge burgers, and savoury main course featured including Rocky River Chicken which was superb...(huge portions!). The vegetable side with the features was the best I have had in a very long time! We will be back on our next trip!More
