Poutine Queen is my kids’ favourite supper stop in Invermere. Order your poutine with crispy fries for the best experience. So good. Fresh made to order. Sit on their beautiful patio or take it to go for the perfect beach meal. We’ve tried many of their special kinds - butter chicken, pulled pork, bacon cheeseburger, cheddar bacon, original and the Queens. Full loaded! With the flavours and cheesy goodness layered throughout. This isn’t a fancy meal but it’s ultra filling and delicious! My kids request to stop here each summer and talk about it all year- it’s that good! I’ll be back next time I’m around!

Food truck! We love a good food truck. Decided to share a poutine for lunch yesterday with my daughter. It was everything a poutine should be. Crispy crinkle fries. Good tasting gravy. Nice cheese curds. We enjoyed every last drop. We will come again.

Delicious Poutine, so fresh, hot and crispy. Busy little place but such friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

Was totally excited to see the poutine ‘queen’ food truck next to the smokehouse 93, had seen the smokehouse 93 passing through this past winter, had never been to either. Busy time on labour day Sunday, lined up at both places. We decided to get some sandwiches from the smokehouse and compliment it with poutine. After my son and I got in line simultaneously, we had our sandwiches before placing our order for poutine, 1 regular order of poutine, no frills. We ate and finished our sandwiches and we waited...and waited...finally our order was ready and sat back down to enjoy what the poutine ‘queen’ had to offer. Honestly the worst poutine I have ever had, being from the eastern side of Canada I know my poutine. The first and most important thing to note was the frozen crinkle cut fries, that’s right I said it...frozen crinkle cut fries! The first ingredient in poutine is the potato, cheese curds second, gravy third. The fries should be fresh cut, authentic Quebec cheese curds, and homemade gravy...Poutine Queen missed the mark on all three. The fries were not fully cooked or seasoned well, the frozen flavour and texture was mostly what we tasted, the cheese and gravy were okay and made it edible. With better fries this might have been an okay dish, hard to tell when the gravy is masking the taste of the poutine. Under normal circumstances my son would have eaten most of the dish but asked me to finish it off. I was shocked to see 2 reviews of 5 stars. That being said, the staff were friendly and seemed to be rushing around working hard but looked disorganized. I place the onus on management not the staff, they can only work with what they’re given. Having worked in the hospitality sector for over twenty years, this seemed like an embarrassment to the greatness of food trucks and restaurants. Please note that I do not often take time to leave negative reviews, maybe this place had a really bad day, I am astonished they’re getting great reviews and even still in business. great location and friendly staff goes a long way! Too bad about the frozen potatoes, won’t be back!

Since visiting Quebec early this year, the oldest teen enjoys his Poutine more than the average! He was very happy with his layered pulled pork poutine. The Mushroom Mozza (or Mozza Mushroom?) burger was divine and the onion rings would be ordered again, a difficult feat for my picky eaters!
