Had a takeout order of their Yam-nuska sushi roll ($9). I was not impressed, and not just because of the yam. The sushi roll was not much better than the store made sushi rolls that you get in the grocery store.

I want to start by saying that the food here was phenomenal. We sat at the bar where we could watch the chefs prepare our sushi and they obviously knew what they were doing. The fish on the nigiri sushi was so fresh and delicious. We even watched a fresh fish (fins and all) be delivered to the prep station.... More

Google maps shows this restaurant near Kinsmen Beach. Wrong. It is located on Athalmer road in the same commercial strip as Subway, between Huckleberry's and Dairy Queen. I had to throw that in there so others wouldn't be driving around aimlessly looking for it like we were. We finally arrived on a busy evening, with a large birthday party in... More

Fubuki Sushi is the absolute BEST sushi restaurant! They have a wide variety of appetizers, rolls, main dishes and desserts! The grilled Edamame is AMAZING as a starter, pair it with the assorted veggie Tempura and your taste buds are in heaven! The Green Dragon roll is the most delicious item on the menu for me. Other roll favorites are... More

This is a busy little restaurant for good reason. It has a good choice of Japanese food and benefits from fresh fish presumably off Canada's Pacific coast. It was all prepared to a good standard though not quite perfect enough for 5 stars. But a strong and solid 4 star rating

My two adult daughters and I visited Fubuki Sushi while on our most recent vacation in the Invermere area and found a treasure! We were all impressed with the unique offerings and the freshness of the food. We shared the Slammin' Salmon, Eric H., and the Invermere roll. The Slammin' Salmon was okay; would have been received better except it... More

Enjoyed the sushi, it was very fresh. Rice to fish ratio was great. Surprised at the quality from a small town.

Came here on a quiet afternoon. Service was slow sushi was overpriced and not any better than you can get in a take out tray at the sobeys in town. Would not return.

Great ingredients, great taste - great dood, especially for being in this tiny town of Invermere. Quality rivals that of a large city in Canada or the US although selection is limited - understandable considering the customer base. Support this restaurant owned by the sushi chef and it'll only get better.

As an Asian, I did not expect to be treated as a second-class citizen in a Japanese restaurant. From not offering water until we asked after everyone around us got theirs automatically; taking our order AFTER a "white" couple who walked in/ were seated after us; waiting over 20 minutes after we finished our meal for the bill - which...
