The kicking Horse was recommended to us by a local resident who said it employs many people from Invermere because of its successful coffee bean business. My family and I visited and loved the restaurant and what it had to offer but we all agreed...that our coffees were bitter tasting and strong. Perhaps we tried the wrong blend. This is a really great cafe and the staff were very friendly, one even let me take a picture with her. She had prepared our coffee for us. As I don’t drink coffee very often but had to try it here. We had date squares...with our coffee and it was pretty tasty 😋. We had to leave as it was close to their closing time and wished we could have come earlier to enjoy the beautiful and almost cozy environment.More

Busy coffee shop that is for sure but they were efficient. Nice decor and little deck area out front and of course excellent kick,ass coffe.

Kicking Horse coffee is my favourite, and it was nice to have so many options for purchasing beans or ground. I was anticipating that it would be like going to a winery, though, where you could have a tasting of every variety they have. Instead...they had just two types brewed, and the same two on consecutive days we popped in. Nice interior, friendly staff, but you couldn't really see through the windows, so it felt a tad claustrophobic.More

I order coffee out A LOT and 90% of the time get Americanos. This is seriously THE BEST Americano/Canadiano I’ve ever had. Passing through from the US to Banff, we made sure to stop AGAIN on our way back just for another Canadiano. Seriously amazing!...Also, the veggie and roast beef sandwiches were delicious!More

Great coffee, healthy snacks, and friendly staff. There is also a souvenir shop inside that has a great selection of travel mugs and shirts, hats.

This place serves great coffee, cakes and drinks and people come from everywhere at all hours to take away, sit inside or sit outside. We come to Calgary once a year and always spend a few days in the area, during which time we visit...Kicking Horse Cafe at least once a day. We could however eat and drink here all day long and just forget about worrying about calories. They have the yummiest cakes across BC and Alberta in this little spot, not to mention some pretty seriously great coffee.More

I found Kicking Horse Coffee on the internet and was using it at home so when we were going to be passing through the area on vacation it was a must stop. Our expectations were definitely met on our morning stop there. Excellent coffee and...very good breakfast items. Busy place and the great coffee and breakfast are the reason. I enjoy looking for good coffee while on vacation and I heard that kicking horse was based in Invermere I knew I wanted to check it out. I emailed their office to see if they do tours which they do. The tour was very informative...and our guide was funny. The cafe has a great design to it but is pretty small for the amount of people that flock to it in the summer. Prices are decent. Coffee is delicious. We could order a steamer (with whip of course😆) for the little ones. Overall I great company with great coffee!More

If you want a good. Offer this is the place to go. Had a nice vegan wrap into the bargain and at a reasonable price.
