The food here is good but it is, in my opinion overpriced (especially for Hope) that being said it is one of your only options for a decent dinner in Hope so you may not have any other option.

Great menu choices - interesting and a bit different, with delicious flavours and cooked really well. Friendly, attentive service too!

We stopped on our way through town, have been wanting to stop for awhile. It's a neat location, clean and tidy. I had the burger which was good but nothing special. My wife had the fettuccine and it was terrible. Noodles tasted and looked like they were out of a box, the tomato sauce wasn't great either. Seemed high priced... More

We were looking for a nice meal before heading out for the evening. Being new to the are we tried this place. After a long wait for service we ordered. I ordered a burger and the Mrs ordered a salad. Food took a long time to come. When it did the portions were tiny for the very high prices. My... More

Nice and clean, alittle bit higher priced but very well served by both servers and cooks! It is family friendly but could also be a nice couples only place as well

293 Wallace is a nice clean restaurant situated pretty much in the old town center. While the lunch menu is not huge, it did offer a diverse chose of menu items. The food is pretty good, not necessarily "cheap-eats," but it's still a good value. The service was good, but a bit inconsistent due to just one server for the... More

Stopping in Hope for only one night, we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a restaurant down the street from our motel. The open sign was broken, but there were people dining inside so we checked it out. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service. We both had the steak special which came with the most delicious Brussel sprouts in history.... More

We weren't sure what to expect when we got to the little town of hope, we checked into our hotel up the road and checked out trip advisor for places to eat. A lot of great reviews for 293 Wallace street rest. And for good reason. We had the steak special and a bottle of wine. I didn't know I... More

The chefs at 293 Wallace Street Restaurant rarely look farther than 150 kilometres away for their meats and produce, sourcing organic ingredients from farmers throughout the Fraser Valley whenever possible. These ingredients lend harvest-fresh flavours to their eclectically influenced menu, which includes aged-in-house Angus steaks alongside traditional Creole, Indian, and Italian entrees. They also whisk together all of their own sauces and dressings, and modify dishes to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets. The restaurant features outdoor seating for scowling at clouds during the warmer seasons, and shelters guests with rich earth tones and dark wooden accents within the dining room. Red tulips add vibrant splashes to the decor, as do the tabletop colouring sheets that busy children's hands pre-meal.
