To be honest I was hesitant looking at the menu to begin with, but the service and food exceeded my expectations and it is one of the best Japanese restaurants we have eaten at. It’s authentic, homely and the food is made fresh in front of you. You won’t be disappointed.

No one could ever say there were not enough sushi places in Golden but hands down this is the best! My go to is either the salmon avocado roll or the deef don....but everything looks delicious and there are one or 2 things on the new menu that might just tempt me! The owners are lovely too....always service with a smile :)

Was spending a morning in Golden and had walked up and down a couple of times but didn't see anywhere we fancied for lunch. Went into the clothes shop and after our purchase asked for a recommendation on where to eat. Without hesitation we were told the Japanese restaurant next door. It is very plain inside with just a couple of tables. The kitchen is open so you can see the food being prepared. We both chose and I had tofu on top of vegetables in a bowl. Can't remember the name. It was fantastic. The veggies were so fresh and beautifully cooked. My hubby also had a bowl meal, this time with crispy beef and he loved it too. This was one of the best meals we had in Canada. There was a constant stream of locals coming in for takeout.

Speedy service - I mean we were in and out in 2 minutes. Decent price, good sushi! We had the California rolls, would eat again.

Awesome across the board. Fresh and bright sushi.
The yakisoba is a stand out for me. The soba noodles are so firm and well done with lively garlic and ginger bursting throughout.
Highly recommended!

My family and I love eating at Nagomi Sushi!
The food is always fantastic, but the community minded atmosphere, and kindness of the owners really put this restaurant into a league of it's own. Golden is so fortunate to have this gem!

This is simply the best sushi in the area. No MSG is added, so no worries about allergies or if MSG bothers you. Food is fresh, hot and cold dishes available, gluten free options, excellent service, nice clean, quiet place to enjoy a meal, or take out.

They have many choices. The owners are friendly and the restaurant although not large very clean and comfortable.

We stopped in for lunch having spend an hour or two exploring the walking routes around Golden. Service was a little muddled at first as it was unclear whether to sit at a table and wait for a server to come with menus or to order at the counter, along with take out customers, and then take a seat. We did the latter, having ordered three rolls to share. We went with the salmon, California and dragon rolls. All three were fresh and tasty and in total were the perfect size for lunch.

Cute little restaurant on the Main Street. After a long walk we wandered in service was great and friendly. Food was very tasty and really cheap too.
