We dropped in here for coffee and while the staff were friendly and we received our coffees fast, the quality was very average. The coffee shop looked like it was owned by a few people each of whom have a very different idea of what...sort of image they want to project. Very incoherent. Some shabby chic places with with this approach work but this one just didn’t.
The back end of the shop (when you go to the bathroom) looked chaotic at best - maybe they’d just moved to new premises?!? That’s what it looked like.More
Needed a good coffee after terrible Keurig at Holiday Inn..lol..
Mr. Google led us to Purcell Coffee where the fun staff made us very, very good coffee mochas to take on our drive to Calgary. The amazing smell of fresh baking meant we had to...have a fresh out of the oven chocolate croissant to go with the coffee.
Croissant was delightful..small, flaky, chocolatey..exactly the perfect bite for road trip food.
Well worth the 2 minute detour off the highway and into downtown for a great cup of coffee.
Enjoyed the personable staff as well.. too many places to ski/snowboard and not enough time :)More
Just stopped for coffee, but that's OK because they didn't really have any food on offer. Coffee was really good, nicely middle roasted, but the twisted too high on caffeine sisters behind the counter were kinda weirdish. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble like... if you...know what I mean?More
This is a real treat if you want great coffee and a place to relax while with friends. We have stopped here over the years and will always stop here to break up the journey or just to have a break. The coffee is roasted...on site and they have several options for people who like dark roast to those of us who like a lighter roast to appreciate the range of natural flavours. The décor is fairly basic but homely and during the day little groups get together to discuss business.More
We stopped here for a quick coffee on a long journey from Kelowna to Banff. The coffee was great and it was a nice, friendly atmosphere. We were looking for a specific gift for someone and were amazed to find it in this coffee shop!...It was an AeroPress which makes great, smooth coffee. They had a lot of nice, good quality coffee related items to purchase.
I don't suppose we'll be stopping that way again but if we do, or you do, I'd recommended this cafe for a break,More
