Delicious food with lots of new things on the menu, the woodfire pizzas are incredible. Huge patio with big fire pit and a wild view of the mountains. If your passing through Golden this is a must stop. Will definitely be back

Very good food and beer, we sat on the patio on a very hot day and the tables had lots of shade. Quesadilla was excellent

After parking up the RV, strolled down by the river and came across this hidden gem of a tavern. Met with a great smile and a good recommendation for a local wheat beer. Sat in the sunshine and then ordered from the menu. Great home...cooked food, good portion size. Staff couldn't do enough for you.More

Cold drinks, great food and you will always find great conversation! We love the fire outside welcoming us in after a day of skiing!

We come to the Riv every time we visit family in Golden. We love the laidback atmosphere, and the fun and friendly service. My kids get a kick out of the unique pictures and signage, and love the music. We have food allergies in the...family and the kitchen is always willing to make us a custom meal. And everything is prepped and cooked from scratch! Best pub-style home cooked meals in town!More

Stopped in for their taco Tuesday. It was gross. Got the fish tacos first and they were super watery and zero flavour. Also tried the pork ones and it was just burnt pieces of pulled pork. People smoking right on the patio which whatever but...when your eating it’s pretty gross. Very slow services.More

Sorry we didn’t live up to your standards of a 2 dollar taco We sold a 1000 tacos on this day and you were the only complaint so I guess we’re not your style have a good day

Great staff, friendly and good service great view if you sit in the back deck by river, front patio is cute, not sure what attracts people when it comes to the menu. Its small, not much to pick from, and very expensive for the portions...you get. Drinks are pricy. Won't be back to eat as Golden has so many more good restaurants.More

Great food, drinks and service. Food specials are always winners. Huge portions at a great price. Beef lasagna is amazing.

Wanting just a drink and a shared appy we sought this place out. It IS in a beautiful location right next to the pedestrian bridge! The inside is small, dark, and cramped looking at the menu was all we needed to get up and leave....Basic burger was $16.00, as were nachos. Nothing under $12 as I remember. I brag on traveling with TripAdvisor. Not this time.More
