It's been difficult to find some decent hoppy IPA in Canmore and Banff but here is a gem of a place with excellent IPA on tap. Great value with a pint fit $5 during happy hour. Sat outside on temperate summer evening supping 3 pints, feeling happy. Great place with friendly bar staff.

I love the atmosphere in this pub and the waiting and bar staff are first rate. Friendly and efficient you'll never end up staring at the bottom of an empty pint. Foods good solid pub fare too. Nothing fancy but tasty and well priced.

Loved that they welcomed the kids in and humoured their excitement over the delicious poutine and nachos. The kids also liked the refils of their pop. The parents particularly enjoyed the craft beer... yummers... sad we missed the live band. Felt like a family pub... lots of laughter and kind smiles

And this is a good thing. No live music when we visited but a good choice of beers. The pub food we saw looked fine (we didn't eat any though. The service was friendly. Liked it.

This little pub has a great atmosphere, we didn't order anything big to eat just stopped in for an appy and a drink. It was enjoyable, male bartender was very attentive and talkative with all customers while the female server seemed like she hated her job.

Typical pub. Good local beers on tap, great food and huge portions. Local live music on weekends. Can get pretty busy up front when the band is playing.

Gangsta wrap made me do it. Happenin' spot. Great signs in the men's washroom, half naked ladies in the women's. Faceplant beer sounded interesting but were sober for a month so check back later.

Last night my boyfriend and I came into the town for some food. Great little place, we were seen right away, and had great service. The local beer selection was amazing. I unknowing ordered a Tall Timber which is a dark beer, and I haven't found a dark beer I liked. However the Tall Timber was amazing! We also ordered... More

My daughter and I came here for lunch. We were greeted promptly and had menus and drinks with in a few minutes. Even though there were 5 other tables the waitress was still very attentive and gave us great service. It didn't take long to receive our food which was pretty good for pub food. I would certainly come back... More
