We grabbed dinner here and loved the setting -- it was truly a throwback diner and worthy of Triple D. The milkshake was incredible! Food was good and fast and plentiful - I would certainly eat here again
This diner is in need of a facelift. It was clean but everything is worn out. The service was fast and polite but the meals are overpriced. I ordered the club house with a Cesar salad on the side instead of fries, an iced tea...and a milkshake. My bill was over 30 dollars with a tip. For a 1 person meal that is expensive!! The level of service and the quality of food wasn’t worth it. I won’t be a returning customer.More
I don't like eating out during Covid but I was on the road and needed to eat. Normally I eat at the Firepit on my way through Golden. It was closed so I went to Lengendz because it looked promising as a diner.
I was...seated at the bar where I could watch the grill. I ordered a burger and saw it was a frozen patty...which is ok but fresh is always better. The fries were store bought...again fresh cut is better. I also noted that the burger was grilles next to the hash browns and eggs...so not the most food safe or dietary conscious.
Anyway it wasn't bad but could be a lot better with some effort.More
This used to be THE place to stop, so once again, we stopped here. The food was still good, and they had every other table blocked out but unlike the other restaurants we have gone to recently , we did not see a single staff...member earing a mask ( not even the people cooking in the open kitchen ) and we did not see any disinfection of tables between customers, just a fast wipe of the table with the same cloth, over and over. I was also NOT impressed that if you want salad instead of fries they charge an extra $3. We were a bit nervous, left quickly and will not go back any time soon, despite the tasty food and fast, friendly service.More
This place was just down the street from where we were staying. Since in this area most did not wear a mask we decided on takeout. Asked at the front for a menu and how is the pizza. She said it was good so we...ordered to go.
It was very tasty and not too thick of a crust. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Hit the spot after a long day of sightseeing.More
I've eaten here a few times over the years and stopped in yesterday but wish i would have turned around and left, much like a couple of groups that did just that rather than eat there. The clam chowder soup was flavored with cheap chicken...broth, and the burgers were horrible. Did not even finish them even though hungry. Our server was lovely. The biggest concern was ZERO Covid protocol. Not one staff member wore a mask, not even the cook. They had a book for covid tracing but didn't mandate people to add their info. Hugely regret stopping there and entering the premises.More
We stopped here because we had heard this place was amazing a few years ago. It has definitely no longer amazing. We had the special of clam chowder and fish/chips. The clam chowder was weird. It had what looked like barely or rice in it....Didn't notice any claims and it didn't taste fishy. It was more like cream of chicken than clam chowder. The fish and chips were greasy and not good. I only ate one of 3 pieces as I just couldn't take the grease. It was also really expensive. $7 for a milkshake.. however that was the only part of our meal that wasn't gross. We won't be back and I wish I would have read these other reviews before we went.More
