We ate lunch here one of the first days we were in the area on vacation. Our daughter loved her meal so much the kids both practiced saying "schnitzel" all week asking to go back. The Friday evening buffet did not disappoint. We were able to try so many things off the menu, the drinks and dessert were delicious. We... More

Worst Caesar I ever tasted. Went for the beef ribs (which were fabulous the last time I was there), and they are now off the menu. Kudo's to the manager for not giving us a bill when we left.

We were in Cranbrrok for one night to break up our long drive from Calgary back to Montana. We ate one meal there and we're so so very glad we chose this place. Note that this is an upscale restaurant and is priced as such but it is so very worth every penny. WWWith a great selection of appetizers and... More

We went with a big group of noisy adults and the servers were very accommodating and gracious. Huge servings! Everything was great except the spatzle.

Portion could be smaller and so could the price. We enjoyed our selection, but it took us three days to finish them!!!

Unless you want leftovers or are a mammoth eater, order a half order. Schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce was delicious, and the spaetzel (noodles sp?) were delicate and yummy. Hubby had the bratwurst that he loved. Sides included purple cabbage and saurerkraut. It's "the thing" to do if you are in Cranbrook. Service and ambiance were good.

We were craving schnitzel so we decided to visit Frank's. It was a nice restaurant and had a buffet that cost $39.00. We thought that 2 seniors couldn't possibly do justice to that costly a buffet so we ordered 2 Jaeger Schnitzel which cost $26.00 each. The bread was very good. We waited for a short while and when our... More

Franks Steak & Schnitzel Haus caught my wife's attention shortly after we arrived in town. She loves schnitzel so that's where we ended up for dinner our first night in Cranbrook. Several previous reviewers griped about the price but you generally get what you pay for. Frank's is one of those places. If you have to look at the right... More

Wide selection of entrees to suit the most discrimating palates. Wife and I shared and greatly enjoyed the Chateaubriand which was plentiful and perfectly cooked to a medium rare. A reasonable slection of house wines. Service was excellent and a visit by the owner proved to be both interesting and fun.
