Decided to do take out for a change and my only disappointment was that I was not dining in and was missing the wonderful Greek ambiance. How ever the Roast Lamb and the dry ribs were fabulous in our home! The baklava still is considered...to be the best this side of Greece, thank you!!More

Ordered for pick up, since I was picking up the grandson from work 2 blocks away (free deliver). Ordered an appie and main each for three of us. Managed to eat MAYBE 1/3 of the appies, a couple bites of the mains. Excellent flavours, just...huge servings. Hubby said best gyro he has ever had. Grandson was going to repurpose leftover spinach dip as mushroom cap stuffing. Tasty and generous portions. Have already recommended to family and friends in the area, grandson says it will be a new lunch option from work.More

We first discovered Yiamas two summers ago and, being avid Greek food fans we were so surprised. This summer, we went back with our whole family. Two tables of six due to social distance rules and enjoyed an incredible night of great Greek food and...fun. Highlights—top drawer Calamari, honestly to perfection, Saganaki, Moussaka, Roast Lamb, and their signature Marouli Salad were all incredible. If you’re visiting the area be sure to enjoy and support a great restaurant like this one during these challenging times.More

Finally decided on take out and Yiamas did a great job. The roast lamb and garlic prawns were absolutely delicious and came with wonderfully greek seasoned grilled vegetables and some of the best lemony potatoes that we have ever tasted. We saved the greek salad...for lunch.More

Like your typical Greek restaurant, these folks do not know anything about small portions. So when you eat here, be prepared to come away very full and satisfied. Unlike other Greek restaurants my wife and I have elsewhere frequented, we did not get a complimentary...tzaziki and pita bread provided. This had to be ordered separately. As well, the tzaziki was a bit too salty. Otherwise the Kalamari meal my wife ordered and the Spanakopita, tasted so wonderful. We truly enjoyed our meals so much, we had no possible room for any dessert. This is certainly a Greek restaurant to check out if you are in Courtenay.More
