My husband & I love Schnitzel, so when we saw the Cappuccino Grande Cafe were featuring it today, we decided to go for a walk to try it out. We were not disappointed, in fact we never have been, here. The food is very fresh & served with a smile + more. The couple that run it are super nice... More

The lady that runs this restaurant is a delight. The food is fresh every day, and she will make special items. I've tried many of her "brunch" offerings and never been disappointed. I'm from Oregon 101 and have many coffee huts to choose from. The coffee in this continental cafe stands up with the best. When in Courtenay/Comox, make this... More

Visited Courtenay over the Christmas holiday and discovered this gem of a cafe one lunch time. We had a delicious turkey, & chicken, croissant and finished off with apple strudl and coffee (a happy reminder of a visit to Vienna a few years ago). Took a carton of pea soup back with us along with some pastries. Everything was first... More

The desserts here are just out of this world. So good that we still haven't got around to trying their other menu items yet. Beautiful European-style baking, not that cloyingly sweet stuff that you get in run-of-the-mill bakeries. REAL butter cream. Excellent coffee too. On days when we really want to indulge we just go there and have dessert for... More

Very good sandwiches. Soup are good as well. Reasonably priced. Their deserts are also good. There are also some unique arts on the wall.

This Cafe is not just to enjoy really good pastries, and a delicious selection of sandwiches. On selected days they create lunch delights such as Schnitzel with fries, or, Spagetti & Meatballs, and more. Everything is home made on their premises. A real nice place to relax with a nice cup of coffee and a Strudel. Go a try it.

The cafe was clean, warm and friendly. We shared a chicken croissant which was fresh and delicious. There was only one apple strudel left, so we shared that. I could have eaten 3 more, it was that good. What a great spot for a quick coffee and a bite to eat.
