We stopped in for lunch on Mother's day, and it was very busy! Parking lot was full so we went for a drive and came back. Still busy! We got seated right away and ordered nice cold beer, our server was really nice with an awesome sense of humour. We ordered hot wings and coconut prawns the food was great but 1.5 hours to get them was a little excessive we were very patient but people around us not so much! That long of wait was the only reason we didn't give a 5.

Huge rave to The Lion's Head. Whether you're there for lunch, dinner or a couple pints, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you like a variety of beer, they have it all with their rotating taps. The menu is next level with their in-house smoked meats as well. Next time you're looking to go out, definitely give this place a shot!

Full menu of beers on tap throughout BC crafters. The beers arrive with frozen glass stones!
Our adult family required dietary specifications. The menu provided so many options. The kitchen alllowed dietary alterations. They specialize in smoked meat. Don’t be stupid the brisket ins incredible!
Each meal was exceptional!
But thriving on the cake…pickle chips!!!!

We love Lions Pub for Vegetarian Greek Pizza. It was always great, loaded with fresh veggies. but the other day what did we get- - careless put together - this time Pizza came with veggies burned and soggy dough. perhaps it was just a "sous-chef" working. We are not sure if we ever return for Pizza

I'm a local ad have been eating at this establishment for over 10 years. Given the current economic conditions, I've reduced my meals out and only go to establishments that have proven their worth historically.
The Lions Head was always a restaurant that never disappointed until now.
My partner and I ordered the brisket Philly cheese steak. Anticipating an amazing meal that I have enjoyed many a time in the years gone by, I was gravely disappointed at what I got. A Philly cheese steak that was devoid of cheese and more akin to meat porridge.
I get that restaurants have been having a hard time , I get that restaurants have to raise their prices as their costs have gone up.
With that being said, there was no excuse for what we recieved.
Both of us got the brisket Philly cheese steak, my partner refused and returned her meal to be replace w a burger
I ate mine as I was ravenous, though because of the texture (or lack thereof) I had to eat mine with a knife and fork because it was literally meat porridge. Aesthetically, it was hideous, taste wise it was an ok meal that really mush tasting like BBQ sauce.
My partners replacement burger.....uh a frozen patty that could have easily been bettered by
A&W. NO JOKE. (And burnt fries -yikes!)
The fries were burnt too. How do you screw up fries when you are literally like one of 8 people in the entire restaurant.
Our waitress apologized and didn't charge for either of my partners meals. Nevertheless imo the Lions Head has lost their stride and itll be a cold day in hell before I spend 70$ w tip on two porridge brisket "Philly steaks w no cheese" sandwiches w two beers for lunch!

Sunday brunch and Lions Head. The Caesar was good. Unfortunately the Benny left a lot to be desired. The eggs were under done and the English muffins were not even toasted so it all turned into a soggy inedible mess. The inconsistency in the kitchen is unfortunate as there is much potential.

This was a great place for a multi family dinner. We have a geriatric dog who was welcomed on the patio with her own water bowl. Staff and other patrons all were friendly towards us and our pup.
The food was excellent. Best ribs ever. I was worried about ordering a salad in the pub but it was fresh and tasty.
The back patio has a cool view of a rock climbing wall and on a hot summer day, the breeze from the river is most welcome.
I would definitely come back

Lion's head pub is a great place to go enjoy a meal with family and friends, their local rotating taps are a great way to discover local breweries. Their smoked meats are to die for. Love this place, the environment, and the staff.

Tried this restaurant because of the reviews. Service was fine. Food was just okay, but not sure I would go back. The decor is dated and well used.
At our table two of us had ribs with corn bread. The bread was dry and almost burnt on the bottom. The rib meat was decent but the BBQ was better scraped off. The chicken wings were the same as any place, just wings.
Just didn’t hit the mark for the money.

We were a group of 8. (2 tables) we had different items and I didn’t hear any complaints. I can comment on the smoked beef brisket. It was delicious! The crisp bacon was a great touch and added an interesting texture to it the sandwich.

For a local, I had actually never been here!
Atmosphere: Great, lively, cozy
Layout: Restaurant has a good layout, open but sectioned off at the same time. Coolest part is the 2 patios with picnic tables instead of your typical patio set. Kid and dog friendly to top it off!
Staff: Greeted upon walking in the front by a smiling friendly face.
I cannot remember the lady's name that served me, though she was quite polite and friendly.
Service was fast, food was hot and delivered in great timing.
The gentleman behind the bar (the one and only!) named Shaun was enthusiastic and professional, great personality, and always had a large smile on his face.
His attire is probably one of the largest highlights of the night and make great conversation pieces (very colourful and bright).
Food: I ordered a nice cold Corona and the vegetarian version of the Fajita rice bowl and it was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Always love to stop at this place for a Caesar or beers over brunch or lunch. Beer list is always impressive, as is the food. The Jerk Chicken Wings are spicy af, and so very tasty. Monthly feature sheets are nice to choose from too

My partner and I decided to stop in for a quick bite and beer and were not disappointed. The kind and helpful staff, delicious food, and the stunning location and atmosphere made for an overall amazing dining experience. We will absolutely be coming back!

Great selection of food and local craft beers. Plenty of space to sit inside or outside. Very friendly and attentive staff. Chicken sandwich and Mac & Cheese were absolutely amazing. Wait for our food was long but it was worth it. Will definitely eat here again

I couldn't believe the one lunch server was so rude and loud to a customer that the whole lounge could hear. This made for a very negative experience. Food---the big bun dwarfed the patty.
