Nice enough atmosphere. The staff were very hardworking but it seemed a wee bit understaffed when we were there. A bit over rated for the $$$ in my opinion.

Scott and his team did an absolute incredible job. Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. Top notch service and the kitchen staff blew us away with their culinary skills. Our appetizers came up quickly and were excellent and our entrees came at...an appropriate time later, despite two large parties ordering ahead of us. All of our entrees were exceptional! Nothing short of impressive on all accounts. They provided an experience I will be revelling in for years to come.More

One of worst restaurant tried in British Columbia. The expensive menu is not correlated with quality of food, the services and general impression (e.g. you can not pay on the table with credit card). I complete disliked the mussels (my opinion it was frozen, the...waiter said is from restaurant tank, more worst), the halibut (almonaide version) was so untasty, that I needed some drug to calm my stomach). The bad surprise in this precious restaurant is that you can not eat any salmon (the restaurant staff maybe need to read something about local history). The waiter was all the time missing from our table and desinteresed. I recommend strongly some courses for the service staff (minor things but esentials, e.g. without wipes after finishing the mussels). I don't know which was worst: the food or service. Both. In conclusion if you want to be a precious restaurant it is not enough to have an expensive menu. NOT recommended.More

Enjoyable place next to the harbor. Outside seating when wind permits. We sat out for an enjoyable evening. Staff was nice and professional. We had salmon (fresh) and chicken cordon blu and prawns. Great selection of wine and beer. The food was wonderful. The cost...seemed appropriate so all in all good place. Reservations are a good idea!!!More

For our last dinner in Campbell River, we went to the Harbour Grill. We were seated by the windows overlooking the marina. We took the halibut and the seafood gratin that were served quite quickly given that the restaurant was full on that Friday night....Both dishes were excellent and plentiful. We shared a mud pie to close our dinner and it was also excellent. Efficient and friendly service, prices in line with the quality served.More

We are long term Campbell River residents and it has been some time since we visited the Harbour Grill. We were so happy with our evening - celebrating our 40th anniversary. The staff, food and environment were all fantastic! This is truly gourmet at its...best! Our out-of-town visitors are missing out if they do not experience this gem of a dining establishment!More

THE HARBOUR GRILL! We have gone here for years, when the first owner Walter Barfuss owned and ran it, unfortunately Walter passed away and Scott, one of the waiters bought it after Walter passed. Of course then Covid hit, however he was able to somehow...keep it going and I believe it was due to the incredible food and service as well as the customers that wanted great food and awesome seafood along with service! I have lived here for 45 years and as far as I am concerned there is no other place to go if you want fine dining spectacular food and as I said amazing service. It is pricey but your paying for quality food and service. We have never had a bad meal and if I may suggest a few of my favourites, Seafood au- gratin with Angel hair pasta, Wrack of Lamb, fabulous steak and a must is the peppercorn sauce! Caesar salad with Shrimp, Coquilles St Jacques, Escargot, I could go on and on! Never had a bad meal here. So splurge as you won’t forget it and you’ll be back! 5 Star all the way! Also the decor lovely, all amazing beautifully framed photos of all of Campbell River, it’s beautiful sites and incredible Wild Life. superb, waterfront patio, good food, decent portions and not overpriced. good service and nice to see the young girls NOT in short skirts & heels.

Attractive restaurant both inside and out, overlooking the boat harbour. Higher priced meals, but the portions were huge, so no complaints there!!! Our meals were excellent, so no complaints there either!! Service was a little slow, but it was moderately busy, and we know staffing...is a challenge in all service industries.More

Where do I begin. Table booked for 7 dinner finally arrived at 9 .Husband did get his starter quite quickly,then nothing.When it finally arrived after being told they had been really busy with walk ins as well as bookings lots of apologies for the delays.Dinner...arrived mine was dry and sauce was stuck to plate.Then sent back,husband did mange his Halibut but it was average..Sorry but chef was too busy to cope.More

Where to start...went 2 nights running, arriving on the first night with no reservation, we received a warm welcome from the owner, Scott, were seated at a lovely table and things just got better and better! Food and wines - delicious and staff super helpful...and friendly. Could it get better? Well, yes, second night we were greeted like old friends and received the same, friendly service and the steak and rack of lamb.. superb! Thank you to Scott and his team for giving us such great memories of our first trip to Campbell River, if we come back, you'll be top of our list! Harbor Grill never disappoints! Amazing food amazing service. It's been quite some time since we have dined at harbor Grill and we were so happy to see nothing has changed!

This is the best place to eat in Campbell River by far. Scott and his staff go above and beyond to provide a fantastic dining experience. The food is always excellent and the portions substantial too. We had the garlic tiger prawns, which were absolutely...delicious. Love this place.More

Probable the best place in the city , great staff , awesome owner and top notch west coast cuisine. Steaks seafood and exceptional wine list. Doesn’t get much better for steak and seafood , chowder, salads etc… I eat here when I am working in...the city. This is a must see place.More
