We visited the restaurant. the food was good. the Shangai dumpling was juicy. the skin was thin. The hot and sour soup was delicious. the spicy beef noisier wasn't perfect : I liked the Noodle, I loved the hot taste, the beef wasn't high quality but the flavour of the herbs was too overwhelming and masked the flavour of the... One of the great things about this restaurant is that you can se women making dumplings behind the glass. Which is why it was surprising at 12:20 to be told they were sold out of pan fried dumplings. Dan Dan in spicy sauce noodles were good, and the noodles obviously fresh, but served with a very mild peanut sauce. Veg... More

This is consistently one of my go-to places for Shanghainese cuisine. We order a lot of vegetarian dishes, soups and buns. All yummy. And they have the cutest dishes! You can park in Crystal Mall and enter from a rear door from the mall, or enter directly from Kingsway.

My experience with Chinese restaurants is in Toronto and this was a little different. The hot and sour soup came with noodles; it was good but hard to eat. The food came quickly and was very hot. Good value as prices were reasonable.

Have been here several times. If you want something that is tasty and spicy this is the place. The Dai Ching chicken is the best, ask for extra sauce.

I have been there many times. The food is consistent and I am glad that the restaurant will make dietary adjustments to my request, Overall, all the dishes are authentic and the prices are average. Good service too.

Place is authentic and very busy. Parking is limited for up front but you can access via the Crystal Mall or in the front on kingsway. While meter parking in the front is limited, Crystal Mall had free parking but it can be a death trap given how poorly it is built and people don't know how to drive down... More

Although it has some Shanghai specialties it is not 100% a Shanghai experience. I don't know why i need to say at least 100 characters if I have nothing more to say.

Friends took us there. The Shanghai dishes were fairly authentic. Fish pieces in rice wine was very good, not over powered by the rice wine or too sour. The steamed/fried buns were done perfectly. The dumplings were very authentic indeed. However, there is a lack of friendly service and the place was a bit dirty.

The palce was a bit dirty, service was slow at best and the food so so . You can not use a credit card unless it is over 40.00 but it does not states this anywhere. Your better off getting food at the food court at the Crystall Mall.
