Went here a few weeks ago with a friend. The waitress we had at first was great but then left. When my food arrived I could tell the bun was burnt and chicken was refried. I ordered the Nashville hot and I've had this many...times. I told the waitress or manager not sure who and they stated "it's just like that". Didn't eat my dinner and was not happy. Didn't even offer to remake.More

My team came here for a meal together. I had their Salmon zen bowl and pinto grio. Because their menu is so varied, there is something for everyone. Good service and all our food came out at once and was hot.

We joined our adult children and grandchildren at Earls Kitchen & Bar (Burnaby) to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary today. The staff didn't know our purpose but treated us as if they did! They were attentive and capable, introducing us effortlessly to (a) the fact...that we were in time for the late morning "happy hour" prices, (b) the simple-but-effective system for reading the menu on line at our table--and paying with a single click, (c) keeping our coffee and drinks topped up, and (d) getting us through an excellent brunch without any hiccups or interruptions. The food was excellent (try the lobster+prawn eggs Benny--first-rate food and a bargain besides). I wish I had made a note of our server's name--she gets an "A", as does Earls Bridge Park Burnaby.More

I went to Earl's with 2 friends on July 14th for dinner. My friend and A were reuniting with 1 friend and three of us met after 10 years. Great casual atmosphere for friends and Happy Hour. We went past 6 and the weather was...getting cold at night. Our waitress seated us by patio entrance and I ended up feeling so cold. Even my friend A felt so cold and I wanted better seating than this. Three of us ordered Yuzu Lemonade and Raspberry Mojito. Yuzu Lemonade didn't taste like Yuzu, but rather like Mint Mojito. Food was nothing special. We order Spinach and Cheese Dip ($15.50) and Wings ($15.75) to share. I ordered Margherita Pizza ($16) while 2 friends ordered Quinoa Power Bowl ($17) and Street Tacos (with fries $17.25) none of them were memorable. It was so hard to wave at the server. The restaurant was so busy around 6. We wanted some forks to share appies and he ended up at the counter to ask for some. Also, we had a long conversation and the server came to us multiple times I felt rushed. It wasn't even near closing time at all. Boo, I won't return to Earl's ever. Everything was salty and expensive. I really didn't like the spot we were seated. Not worth it!More

On Mothers Day we orderd 6 meals for Pickup. Upon arriving for pickup there was a line up and the restaurant was running behind. It took us about half and hour before we got to the front of the line. At this time they mentioned...to us that one of our items was not available and they would substitue for whatever we liked. Upon receiving our meals, I noticed that my Hunan was made with Chicken instead of Prawns - my choice was to wait for it to be corrected or take what I had and get a refund. As it was already late, I took what I had. This was just my story, there were many others like this. My shout out is to the hostess who through all this stayed calm and cool. She must have been on her feet all evening dealing and I am sure was quite frustrated. But through it all she did not show it. Kudos to her! I wish I had her name.More

I am Celiac and I have been eating at Earl's restaurants without any problems, since I was first diagnosed 5 years ago. The Earl's Kitchen + Bar on Lougheed, in Burnaby, BC was one of my favourite restaurants and I ate their regularly and/or ordered...from them all the time through SkipTheDishes. On Friday, I placed an order and requested that it be gluten-free, as I always do. After a few bites of my meal, I could tell that it wasn't. I phoned the restaurant, and they confirmed that it wasn't gluten-free, but they were too busy to let me know. If you are Celiac, you will know how serious their negligence was. I have been bedridden since Friday night. I don't even know if I'll be well enough to go back to work on Tuesday. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO IS CELIAC!!!! THIS LOCATION IS NOT SAFE FOR US ANYMORE!!!!More

“An Absolutely Incredible Experience that provides great value” My server Josh was very knowledgeable about the test menu, and informed me about all the menu options. I particularly enjoyed the mint water. Very unique. The food was incredible and came out extremely fast, and also...the cutlery was incredibly clean, unlike Joey’s and Cactus club. My friends drinks came out under 2:00 minutes, which is an incredible bill time for the bar. It also happened to be my fiancé’s birthday, and our friendly server Josh informed us, about the free birthday cake provided, which was also incredible! Thank you! Earls Is amazing!More

After receiving gift certificates for Christmas we went with a group of 5 adults. Three of us had the burgers...one was fine with his hickory burger; but two of us had the bacon cheddar burgers...the bacon was obviously previously cooked as it was rock hard...and not warm; the meat was hard-tasted freezer burnt and old heated...I couldn't even swallow my meat..and it was so expensive for the low quality of meals...my son had the fettucine with chicken...no one offered him shakes of parmesan on his pasta that was dry -he is 20 and said he could have done better in his dorm...way over priced; nothing special; so bloody dark everyone used their phone lights to see the menus and it was one big disappointment...I will never go there again...nor will I advise others to go...what is the draw to this place? Go to red robins on lougheed hwy...much better food and atmosphere.More

Friendly staff advising you good on the right special beers. Typical American/Canadian restaurant with friendly good looking staff, tv screens with sports on all the walls. Liked the thick mushroom soup very much and also my combo of cajun chicken and ribs (half portion more...than enough) was good. Ribs nice and tender, chicken good cajun taste, a bit too salty.More
