This is a hidden gem on Main Street. It is only open weekdays and only for breakfast and lunch. Brenda’s serves homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, and wraps plus desserts and special coffees. She has daily features and I love the clam chowder Fridays! Brenda’s bakes her own bread so no wonder the sandwiches are so good. Yes! You can even order homemade bread. I order the rye and multigrain. You order and pay at the counter and are give a numbered wooden spoon for delivery. The food here is excellent and my husband and I have been going for years. Brandi, at the till, is amazing and remembers all the the customers by name. The entire staff is friendly. This worth the trip, for sure. One of Stettler’s many highlights!

We three stopped on a Monday for lunch. You order at the main counter, get a numbered marker, and take it to your table. It's a good sized place with lots of space. Water is 'self serve'! Service was fast and professional. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was great. We were well pleased with our visit and very highly recommend this restaurant if you're passing through Stettler.

Food always great at a reasonable price. Fresh and wholesome. Brenda always has soup and sandwiches made from scratch. Right downtown and able to get in right away. Staff pleasant and professional. Atmosphere “Cozy” just like the name! Brenda Millan

We were passing through and needed a place for a quick lunch. Very impressed overall. Servings were a decent size and costs generally reasonable. Very busy when we arrived and I can see why. My wife ordered the half size taco salad and received a generous portion. Drinks were delicious as well. Recommend for anyone who needs to grab a bite.

I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday at noon. I was surprised how big it is inside. And busy. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich and cream of mushroom soup. They gave me a cool table number marker made from a block of wood and a wooden spoon, nice touch. So I found a table and sat down. A few minutes later a lady came and told me that they were out of roast beef so I changed to turkey.
My order came shortly after. The mushroom soup was some of the best I've ever had. The sandwich was good but only came with swiss cheese and lettuce, I always enjoy it more when I get to pick my toppings, maybe a bit of mustard and some onions.
For a small town cafe this is a good one and I would recommend that you stop in if you have a chance to.

I read about Brenda’s on Trip Advisor and I was in Stettler for work so I popped in after 2 pm. The lunch crowd was gone and I almost had the place to myself. The food was homemade and fresh as promised. Selection was a bit tight as it was almost closing time but the service was fast. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a good lunch, in a homey atmosphere .

Excellent service it our go to place for lunch. Brenda was excellent when it came to our son that doesn’t eat anything and made him a special grilled cheese sandwich.

Went on a road trip to Stettler with a friend. We poked around in the shops, and than stop by Brenda’s Cozy Cafe. What a little gem of homemade goodness . Had the soup of the day Hungarian Rustic Mushroom, was sooo good, tasted like more!! Friend had the Asian salad & it was very good as well.
Definitely recommend for a great lunch,!

My companions (from Calgary) and I (from Edmonton) were in town to ride the train. When we saw the store front, I remember reading how great the Cozy Cafe was so we stopped for a bite to eat beforehand. We weren't disappointed.
Walking in. the decore was clean, comforting and homey. The framed kitchen utensils on the wall are well displayed and brought back many memories of us actually using them.
There are a lot of choices so it took us a while to read them all but once we decided, service was very friendly, quick and the prices were great. You order and pay for your food at the counter and they give you a standing wooden spoon with a number on it to take to your table. That's how they find you when your food is ready to be brought to you. (ingenious and fun!) In the meantime, it gives you time to enjoy the atmosphere.
The chicken, cranberry and cheese sandwich I had was so very good. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The pickle on the side brought back happy memories of our Mother's home-made pickles and we all loved them. My friends raved about the beef and barley soup they had with their sandwiches. Best they ever had they said. But the show stopper was the lemon lavender cheese cake we shared - OMG we had never tasted anything so divine, seriously, pure heaven. What a great way to end the meal.
Thank you Brenda's Cozy Cafe. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be stopping by, until then I'll just have to hunt down lemon lavender cheese cake where I am but I doubt I'll find one to match yours.

A few of my corowkers and I stopped for lunch and were very pleased. It was clean, service was prompt, amd the staff were friendly. The food was delicious. I would recommend this place.

The buffet was very good Lot's of good salads .the steak and the shrimp was delicious. The mushroom were very good .the desserts were good too.

We tend to go to the Friday evening buffets. Great home cooking, lots of selection. At times one has to remind staff that some item has run out. Can be hot in the restaurant when the weather is warm. Staff are friendly and helpful.
