Our meal of, prime rib, and chicken was very good, fresh and tasty veggies too! and the service spot on. Good drinks and decent draft beer available. Nothing bad to say at all. Maybe a bit pricey but aren't they all nowadays!

Have eaten at the Sawmill many times prior to this and have never been disappointed before. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated with menus right away. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. We waited over 10 minuted before we...were even approached to be offered water and see if we wanted drinks. We ordered our drinks and promptly ordered meals . The Caesar was good, but the short glass leaves a lot to be desired for a Caesar with all the garnishes. We ordered appetizers to share ( calamari and steak bites). The steak bites were good, having just the right amount of flavour. Calamari was very disappointing. Bland with minimal taste. Our mains arrived less than a minute after appetizers were served. Mains were: Fish and chips (x2), chicken cordon blue and Kobe burger). The serving size of the fish and chips was good. Two large pieces of fish with ample fries. The tartar sauce was really tasty, however, the fish was not hot bland. It really does need something added to it. The Kobe burger (according to the only child in our group) was good. He cleaned his plate quickly. The chicken cordon blue was the poorest of all our meals. The plate did not look appetizing at all. Presentation was poor. My friend said both the chicken and the vegetables did not taste very good either. Service was VERY slow. After this experience, we all decided we will go elsewhere when in the Leduc/Nisku area. We expected more.More
Had a great meal. Went to lounge as it was only 4:00 and dining room was just opening. The menu is the same except that we were able to enjoy the happy hour wine. Hubby and I shared the large Prime Rib and it was...great.. Our dinner companion had her own Prime Rib and advised it was also very good. We usually go to the lounge for wings, but this was a nice treat.More
We were very disappointed in the meal we were served my steak was cut from the rump of a wildabeast tugh! The vegetables we’re burnt and my Husbands prime rib was so raw the chef must have shown the piece of meat the stove.
Wonderful Birthday celebration. We went for my wife’s Birthday as restaurants had re-opened and I wanted to do something special for her. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely also. The only issue I had was that the waiter gave us each the...wrong steaks. I really can not do medium rare but I left it alone as my wife enjoyed her meal.More
Have been before (couldn't remember my old tripadvisor info so have had to make a new account), and enjoyed. A recent visit with different people brought us out again and we had been worried there would be a lack of options for the two vegetarians...in our group, however everyone went away feeling like we all had a good meal.More
Only been reopened a week and we have been here back twice ! Absolutely luv this place. A new drink menu and I can’t wait to try all these great new drinks . Had the salmon and beet salad as my main course and couldn’t...finish it all . So satisfying. The staff are so attentive and of course Raj always takes excellent care of us. If u haven’t been here, you are missing out !!!❤️More
I made a reservation but was seated in the bar rather than main restaurant. Bar is always noisier than main restaurant. Service adequite but not same as main restaurant. Overall meal okay. Prime rib not so tender.
I want to inform everyone that my hubby and I eat at this Sawmill , a few times a month. This night we went on February 15, 2020 , and our server was Raj , to who we usually request for as he is amazing!...very professional and always seems to know when we need something without even asking ~! .. good stuff.. Our meal was wonderful! salads, steak was cooked to perfection and the mashed garlic potatoes ! wow! . but then.... the desert - the chocolate dream dessert , sorry cant remember the appropriate name was " to die for!!! " . even my hubby enjoyed it and he is not a big chocolate fan. Met the manager to who was lovely. overall guys! a wonderful evening ! see you again soon!!!More
Thank you very much Bev. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit & we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Danette ~ Restaurant Manager
Since it opened, we've been going to the Sawmill in Leduc a few times a year - sometimes for dinner, often for the delicious Sunday brunch, but almost always with our daughter in tow; we've had the frequent pleasure of having Raj take care of...us, and he is consistently AMAZING; he always remembers us, looks after every detail of our meal, and ensures our daughter is completely spoiled :) Last night was no exception - we took my Mom out for her birthday dinner and had a great time - everything was cooked to perfection, generous portions, complimentary birthday dessert for Mom, and a couple of special treats for our daughter - and I had the most amazing dessert - the Chocolate Dome - if you love chocolate, you have got to go and take this monster on - presentation is everything with this choice! Thanks to everyone there for the experience, but especially Raj for your exceptional service!More
Hello! We are so happy to hear we delivered on our memorable hospitality core value! You are so right; the chocolate dome is amazing, and so is Raj! We will pass along this great message to him. Take care and hope to see you in...More
I am very pleased that we have a top notch restaurant here in Nisku/Leduc . I know I can always count on the Sawmill for amazing food & service. Because of this,I chose to have our staff year end celebration at the Sawmill. Decided to...split the group into two different sundays so everyone would be able to attend with their spouses. A group of 11 and a group of 14. Had a wonderful experience each time. Food was top notch, from the omelette station, to the carved beef and ham. Great seafood, ( crab legs, shrimp, smoked salmon etc) pancakes, waffles, eggs benny, and so many other choices. Loved the fresh fruit, chocolate fountain and desserts. Can’t say enough about the service. We were well looked after by all. Raj is an 11 out of 10! Excellent food and service,at a very reasonable price. Discounts for seniors and children. If you haven’t been here yet, put it on your must do list. Thanks Sawmill!!! Appreciate you being in the community.More

My husband loves this place. Tomahawk steak need I say more? We always enjoy great food and service. Jody is awsome. Last time our food wasnt up to the usual standards but the management fixed it right away and even comped some extra stuff for...us (cant be perfect everytime) we loved that we can go out for a somewhat fancy date night without traveling into the city!More
Late seating us (we had reservations). Waitress started out good. Had a set menu so meal should have been good. My steak was terrible so i took it home to my son's dogs!! My husband's prime rib over cooked. Tables that arrived after us were...served before us. Took two hours from arrival till our food arrived. My husband thinks they let some of the staff go at a certain time, leaving staff shortage. Had to ask (and wait....) for our bill. Definitely not worth $160.00 for two people. Would never go back to this location!!!!!More
Good steak, but I’m not sure it was worth the price. Very friendly service, but not a very fast or accurate kitchen.
This place is located near the Edmonton airport. It is a chain restaurant in Edmonton area. The parking lot is too small because it was all filled in a December Thursday night. The waitress was busy and took her a while to wait on us....I ordered Clam Chowder soup and was disappointed because I could not taste any clams in it; it was all potato. The house salad was decent. The steak was excellent but I was not crazy about the big piece of bread on the steak. The chocolate ice-cream dessert was excellent.More
