The ambiance is very nice and the service is very good. Appetizer came fast. We ordered a Mediterranean bread (sort of bruschetta) which was very tasty. As main course I order filet mignon and my partner ordered the rib eye. Both dishes were well presented...and they came with vegetables and they offer additional side dishes like baked potato, mashed potatoes with garlic or fries to go with the meal. First time here and I really the hospitality, ambience and the courtesy of the staffs. The food was so great and tastes very great. I had the Cajun Style CAB New York Striploin and the chocolate dome for dessert. I so much love the mushrooms...and the bread as well. So lovely.... I will highly recommend this place....More

Every time I head to Fort Sask. I visit the Sawmill. My favorite meal is the Black & Blue Salad. Wonderful salad with some great meat added in. The staff (Jessica) is always great and very engaging. Drinks are always great here too.

If you have read any of my Sawmill reviews I have not had great experiences. I finally did on this visit. We went on steak and lobster night and everything was cooked and seasoned well ......... except for the rice again just plain unseasoned white...rice, why can't they have a nice rice pilaf, but will not hammer on this too long as I have in previous reviews. Service was very good as well. Quick and very friendly. Maybe they are turning the corner and i will visit again hopefully to have similar experience.More

My husband and I have enjoyed all our dining experiences at the Sawmill. We have gone as a couple, and with friends and family. Every dining experience was excellent.

I had a prime rib. Nothing wrong with it, but ive had better quality and tasting ones from some local sports bars. Definitely not up to the quality and expectation from a place with "prime rib and steakhouse" in their name. Now on to the...horrible service. First of all, it wasn't that busy. We had a large group, so slow service was expected to be fair, but the service was down right awful and embarrassing. My first appy got dropped off at the other end of the table. Once we realized this, we asked for a second dish... It never came. Then the manager actually came to talk to us and we asked for it again... It still never came. Water took ages to be delivered, our drink glasses were empty more than they were full, etc. I will never come back to this particular restaurant and it's left me thinking I may not be back to any in the chain. I used to think highly of Sawmill. Now, it reminds me of a Las Vegas Fremont Street cheap casino "steakhouse" where you get what you pay for with $10 steak and lobster tail.More

went to the Sawmill for dinner with my husband, we had amazing service by our server Britney and great food, our drinks and appys came out very quickly and our server was always on the ball with refilling our drinks. Good restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan. Nice prime rib done to my liking with a good Yorkshire Pudding as well. Great staff on the numerous occasion I have eaten here. Special mention to Donald, he was very attentive and helpful.

We visited on a Sunday night and it wasn’t busy which was great so we were served immediately. Servers were friendly and efficient. There were 6 of us and we ordered: scallops in bacon and focaccia bread to start; followed by 3 Kobe burgers, the...strip loin with a side of mushrooms, cob salad and fish and chips. Overall everyone enjoyed the meal. The cod was fresh but I found the batter was not really to my liking, too brown and the tartar sauce was too thin. The fries were not fresh cut but frozen and should have been hotter when served. The coleslaw was fine. If I went back I would not order the fish and chips.More
