Excellent breads, pastries and pies. Dinner menus are small but offer something for everyone. Duck dishes are superb.

Hi, Sorry your visit coincided during our 'major' renovations. The bakery is moving to a better location with lots of parking for our clients and we'll try, whenever possible, to be open 7 days and nights for summer hours. We look forward to meeting you...More

So we went to Magog on the way to the Bombardier cultural center in Valcourt to see the sculptures of Patricia Barrowman, a Canadian treasure. We stopped in this quiet bakery, open for lunch to have a salad. But the daily menu included Cassoulet (that...More

Thank you for your thoughts and great review. The owner|chef Denis even makes the confit of duck himself, in fact he does everything on the menu from scratch. The different breads are made here to accompany every panini and sandwich. Owl's Bread

I travelled a lot and I enjoy trying out new places. Therefore, I've had some very bad experiences in my time. This place however, surely takes the cake. Absolutely horrible service that prompted our group of 7 to leave. The owner was so rude that...More

I disagree. The best croissants I have ever had outside of France. A real treasure. We feel that we are are lucky to have such an extraordinary chef in the townships!

Description
We are now in a beautfull building recently built(2015)in Magog on the main street, next Avril. We are still making our own pastry, everything made from scracth, pure butter and cream and finally a real french bakery producing crusty baguette and sour dough breads with no fat or sugar, cooked right on the stone of the oven. We are now producing many items gluten free : cakes and pastries. And, We particularly recommand our homemade smoked salmon, potted rillette and duck liver mousse or terrine of foie gras.
