they offer great choices of food and pastries. Very friendly and helpful. Sill go out of their way to satisfy the customer. Only draw back are the prices. I found them to be rather steep for what was offered
Popped in on Saturday morning and grabbed a couple of sausage rolls for a quick breakfast. Lovely staff, offered to heat sausage rolls. All the baked goods looked amazing and I chose some cookies for later that evening for a planned family reunion.. everyone loved...them.. delicious.
Would definitely pop in next time I’m in town .More
From the lineups outside & past visits, we knew this is where you go to get fancy little treats -
We got an array of cheesecake (so light & airy), Nanaimo bars (thick on chocolate), coconut squares (coconut + chocolate = yum) & carrots cake...(thick frosting). And I also got a hot & sour soup for at home dining -
Service was friendly & can't wait to go back and dine in-person -More
Walked from hotel & bought cinnamon buns & a blueberry pie. Cinnamon buns had just enough icing & the bottom had some crunchy caramelization going on. Blueberry pie had a nice crust, packed with berries & not too sweet!
Try the breakfast sandwich with the delicious onion sourdough bread. Super yummy if you are looking for a quick breakfast before the Gananoque Boat Cruise. We did takeout and enjoyed it at the dock. Service was very friendly!
So they directed us to a very good restaurant down the street, which turned out to be excellent. It may have the same owner.
Afterwards, we came back here and bought a number of items as we were traveling and visiting others so would take...them the treats. The baked goods were yummy and enjoyed by allMore
We got a couple of things to go and while they were all edible they were memorable for the wrong reasons!
The sausage rolls had a great flavour but were small and could have done with another few minutes in the oven to make the...pastry seem a little more inviting. The pecan tarts were a cute size but the pastry felt very underdone and had an odd texture that seemed to merge with the filling. It's not often I say this but, to be honest, you find much better baked goods at the well-known large chain you find dotted all over Canada and I think I'd rather have gone there...More
This was not a planned stop until torrential rain along the 401 sent us into Gananoque in search of coffee. Lucky us! This bakery has DELICIOUS food and good coffee... delightful service and is in the heart of an interesting and historic town. It will...become another favourite stop on our journeys.More
