It’s actually pretty tough to get a table in the restaurant in Gaspesie during COVID time and vacation time together. We came at 5 to be able to get a table, by 6:30 they were not accepting more clients. Food was good - very fresh and very well cooked seafood, great soups (chowder and fish soup), very friendly service. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Percé!

I was so pleasantly surprised to find vegan options in Gaspésie! At La Vieille Usine in L'Anse-à-Beaufils, I had their delicious vegan burger 🍔 and brownie with ice cream. The other vegan options are dumpling soup and banana split.
The burger, which came with roasted veg, dijonnaise, roasted potatoes, and salad, was hearty and filling. I think the patty was Gardein but I'm not certain. The brownie was pretty ordinary (too cakey and not fudgy enough) but the ice cream was excellent! 😍

We had a Chaudree de Palourdes (Clam Chowder) which was delicious, and mostly clam. The real hit was the Assiette Gaspesienne (Smoked Fish Taster) which was absolutely delectable, 5 different smoked fish plus fresh shrimp. Look at the picture and salivate. Wonderful service (Manon).

On a very cool and rainy day we stopped here for lunch and were so pleased with our choice. We enjoyed Pit Caribou beer along with probably the best fish soup we have ever eaten. The Gaspesienne fish platter was superb. The service was excellent. The music perfect. The art gallery above rounded out an awesome visit.

It was very friendly, but otherwise not so good. My wife had some linguini in a cream sauce with some small, what appeared to be canned shrimp tossed on top. Poor. I ordered the coquille st. jacques seafood casserole and it was one coquille shell with a ring of mashed potatoes inside the rim, about 3 tablespoons of white sauce mixed with a very few shrimp bits and some warmed mozzarella cheese on top, a tiny salad on the side. Just an amateur small attempt. The final bill with one beer and one small glass of wine was $90. It was not good food and it was not worth $30.

We waited an hour and a half before being served. The starter (natchos) was correct, but the Caesar salad only made of green salad and some rare bread croutons left us hungry. A nice disappointment, although the waitress offered us a beer to compensate us for the wait time.
(and then the WiFi didn’t work, which made the waiting time even longer)

So happy we had dinner there! The food is delicious and the atmosphere amazing! My kids are not easy to please and yet, they loved it! Even their vegan options are amazing (oh that soup with dumplings…). Very friendly staff and a chef that definitely knows how to cook! If you ever go to Percé, you should make a stop there. I wish I could give more stars!

We had read the excellent reviews and knew that we had to run there right after our boat trip. We were not disappointed! We had the best fish soup ever It was served in a big bowl and contained so much salmon and white fish! It was a huge portion so unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert.

The very short drive from Perce was well worth it. Low key with great atmosphere and friendly service.
More importantly the food is locally sourced and excellent. Best clam chowder I've ever had and our main courses, cod and yak burger were fresh and tasty.
Join the locals, you wont regret it.

It's a bit far from the main street of Perce, the tourist area, 10-15 minutes drive, you have to try the fish soup there, one of their best! They have the menu of the day, reasonable price, but kind of disappointed since I was expecting more choice of seafood in their menu!

Might have only been our waitress, but the service slow, disordered but not completely bad.
The welcome waiter was great, made us feel welcome.
The food was good, nothing extraordinary, but good and value was slightly below average imho.
It appears that service has taken a nosedive in the Percé region in general when compared to 10 years ago.

Nice location, but bad service. Size of meals is small. Got bill before desert. Bill also wrong, tried to charge too much. Didnt know prices of food. All in all a waste of time and money.

Went here on a misty Friday night. Crowded but got right in. Very friendly place with great staff and patrons. I had the fish soup and my wife had a Caesar salad and the margarita pizza. Both excellent. This is a great place about a mile west of Perce, and not as crowed with room to park.

We had a great dinner here. I had a great clam chowder, full of clams and so tasty, I also had a small fish soup, full of fish, potatoes, veggies so good, I soaked my bread in it, not to miss a single ounce of the soup. My wife had the cod, lightly breaded, juicy and delicious. it came with rice and veggies, The atmosphere is quite lively and the receive passengers fro a naval shuttle that brings people from the city by waterways. Very friendly and nice. Our waiter Alex was so kind and courteous, he kept refilling our water and inquiring as to our needs. We need more people like him.
