4th time ordering and 4th time they got it wrong. Ordered thru skip the dish and the wanted us to come down to fix it. They hung up on us when we called to report it. Very poor customer service. Do not order from them
We travelled from North Bay and hit up this restaurant. Very clean, well decorated, friendly service. Food was delicious. Best Pho we have tried close to home so far, loved the Vietnamese Spring Rolls. We would definitely recommend.
What an incredible experience. We've never been felt to be so welcomed in a restaurant before. One almost gets a sense of what it would be like to welcomed into their home. We were set up on a lovely garden table with beautiful flowers growing...all around, behind the kitchen. The food was simply Devine. Beautifully fresh and most flavourful, the Vietnamese spring rolls standing out. Got home 2hours later. Now looking for a reason to travel south again so we may return.More
Ever since I first tried Chef Simon's, about 2 years ago, or so, I have always been enjoying great meals from this restaurant!
The combo's they serve up are GREAT value and very tasty.
To be honest, everything I have had there, is really good,...and wouldn't be surprised if everything on the menu was a hit.More
Wow.. I have become hooked on Chef Simon's food. I have only started with a fraction of the menu and what I have tried so far I just love. His pork fried rice (BBQ Pork (Char Siu) Fried Rice) is liked stepping back in time...to when Chinese Food in this country was more authentic. Anyone remember the pork thinly sliced with the dark red rim along the outside? His soup is like a party in your mouth.. the flavours are all over the place. Hot, sour, spicy all at the same time. The general tao chicken is pure chicken breast meat.. no fillers! I have not seen this type of food in a very long time and I am so glad he came to Orillia to delight us with his specialities. This is a absolute must try place. Not only does he give quantity but his quality is the best and all at a very reasonable price. The combos he offers for 11.99 will blow you away.More
Highly recommend eating here if you like Vietnamese cuisine. Tried the Bahn mi beef, garlic beef, pho and Vietnamese rolls. bahn Mi closest thing I have had to GTA style. Fresh bread roll and delicious. Deep fried rolls were homemade and I should have ordered...more. Great quality and will be returning on my next trip to Orillia. Always had doubts on food selection here but now I am a big fanMore
Stopped into Chef Simon's Kitchen today after celebrating Thanksgivings Day yesterday. My brother and sister in law stopped in for lunch. Since it was a first time there we ordered all the different types of spring rolls.Three were fried and one was called the cold...roll. All very good, although we preferred the cold roll. Next was the Beef (Pho) noddle soup, a meal in it's own. Also good and half of it brought home for later. All and all a good experience. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Two thumbs up and I will be back when I am in OrilliaMore
