Very flavourful salad, seafood and mushroom linguine dishes were lighter than most restaurants serve and ingredients were plentiful. Portions were just right. Had the mocha crepe brûlée which was excellent. Service was great. We went for lunch and came back for dinner. We come to...Orillia three or four times a year and usually eat at the clustered restaurants in the middle of the Main Street strip but very happy to walk a few blocks further to this one. Patio is huge too!More

Tried Era 67 on Thursdays "Date Night" promotion where you share an appetizer, choose an entree and share a dessert for $70. We shared the mussels for an appie . I chose the lamb shank and my wife had the seafood pasta. Then we shared...a huge wedge of New York cheese cake. Everything was very good and our waiter, David was very accommodating. It just needs a little more atmosphere.More

Elegant atmosphere, not too busy on a Saturday night, super friendly and very attentive staff. The food was exquisite and priced accordingly. Overall an excellent dining experience, I highly recommend for couples or friends wanting a refined quiet setting.

Understand that take-out is not the quality of in house dining but... my yorkies were burnt and half of the mussels in the seafood linguine were not opened meaning to me not cooked. Also take out cutlery was cheapest you can get and not able...to use.More

We have eaten here many times and it’s been good and very well priced. Today we walked in and we’re surprised it was a set menu without being told at 75 bucks a person and the food was definitely not worth that much. We are...very disappointed walking out paying 230 bucks for what we got..More

If you’re vegan don’t go to this restaurant! They don’t have one single vegan option. When I asked about just getting some fried/roasted veggies, I was told no, that the only thing I could get was the one salad without cheese. They were so inflexible...and unwilling to make anything else. Our waiter was not a bit friendly. Two of our group got the steak which they said was very good. Two got pasta that they enjoyed but two got pasta that wasn’t great. One person took home a “meal” for her husband. Soup, which was bad and in a tiny cup, looked like a portion for a small child. Also ordered fish cakes which were also very disappointing. We found it overpriced, especially with the bad service, i.e. not so nice waiter!More

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Era 67. Both food and service were amazing. I had the crusted halibut and my partner had the seafood linguine which was made to his specifications. Would definitely come back here to eat next time we are in Orillia.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the service received. The person who recommended the restaurant felt bad and we felt bad for the owner having David as an employee there. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day previously...but no customers should be treated so rudely. We were trying to celebrate a special occasion and the first comment he asked was if my mother's boyfriend was her dad. The second comment was that we had only 2 hours there and then took a half hour to take our order. We ordered 10 meals, 6 apps and 2 bottles of wine that the owner is now out. We ended up leaving the restaurant after being accused that 2 women put smoke butts in a heater and we did not have 2 women who smoked in our group nor anyone who was smoking outside on the patio. After trying to explain this he accused us of trying to blow up the place. This was the most unprofessional experience We have ever had a a restaurant. I will not return nor with the 5 other families we were with and we will be sure to share this experience.More

We took our granddaughter for dinner and it was a delicious meal. She and my partner enjoyed the special, prime rib. I had beef tenderloin, also cooked perfectly. Service was excellent, friendly and timely. My partner asked for two yorkies instead of the seasonal vegs...and this was an easy change, my only issue was a large party arrived after us and we’re so loud and we could hardly hear ourselves.More

We had an excellent pre theatre dinner at ERA 67. Varied 3 course fix prix menu made the choosing difficult. Opted for the Caesar salad, braised lamb and chocolate torte. All delicious . Kudos to the chef and Kitchen staff. Cory and Dave at the...front of the house made our dining experience pleasant and fun! We'll be back. 2 different pastas were ordered both had no taste. Pasta was over done and sauce was tasteless. We had to add salt to make it taste edible. We were so looking forward to a good meal after reading all these good reviews. Maybe order something...else.More

We visited Orillia for a quick getaway from southwestern Ontario. The restaurant we wanted to go to was booked and Era67 was just down the street. I think it was fate. Cory, our waiter was fantastic. So friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful outdoor patio. The food...was amazing. I would highly recommend.More

My wife and I had dinner at Era67 on Canada Day. We bought a seasonal home in the area and have been slowly trying to figure out which restaurants will become our favourite date night locales. Era67 was outstanding and among the best dining experiences,...we have had! FOOD: I had the coconut-crusted Halibut and my wife had a steak. My dinner was paired with risotto and seasonal vegetables (heirloom carrots and broccoli, which was not served to me because I asked for no broccoli). I am pretty damn fussy when it comes to food because I think I am a decent cook and I find that I am often disappointed when I go out and I think I could have made something better. Not in this case: the fish was cooked to perfection, all the flavours worked well together... heck, even the carrots were outstanding! My wife's steak (I sampled) was great too: cooked perfectly medium rare. SERVICE: Colleen and the other gentlemen that looked after us were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items (Colleen, you were right about the Halibut - it was outstanding!). MUSIC: I don't think Era67 has music every day or perhaps not even every Friday, but they did when we visited. We dined literally one table from where the band, a couple, with the gentlemen on acoustic guitar and the lady on lead vocals, was set up. The couple was beyond great. I felt we should have had to pay a cover to listen to them (we tipped instead). They covered lots of dinner-appropriate music from multiple eras. They also got the volume right on their sound system. Too often when there is a band at a restaurant the music can overwhelm the ability for us to converse. I appreciate the venue/band getting this right too! Yeah, we will be back!More
