Great place to have lunch, freshly baked bread and hand made chocolate as well as desserts and jams. My favourite is the pulled pork sandwich and salad.

I've just finished the pumpkin pies I bought in November and froze in sections; still tasted great. Pumpkin is my favourite generally and this is a notch above here. So creamy! Last Fall, I also went in for apple pies which were also very good; no skimping here, they were full of apples. Some friends in Toronto had a piece... More

We have been going here for years and we were quite satisfied. This past weekend we odrered a cake, almond nut, as we used to order a hazelnut cake, that they no longer make. We had this product before and it was satisfactory. We paid $38, took it to the cottage to serve as a birthday cake. Almost everyone their... More

Patilero's is an excellent bakery and sandwich/salad spot in Orillia ... Less busy than some of the more well known places down the street ... We try to stop in a time or each time we visit Orillia

Amazing homemade food and treats. Not for those with will power. EVERYTHING is sooooo tasty ( everything we've had so far) I am not so slowly working my way through everything, but I got stuck on the Banana cream tart.

I Loooove this bakery. So many unique items to look at and taste. The Almond cookies are one of my faves. You can special order basically anything here. The box lunches are yummy and a fast healthy portable lunch: homemade sandwich on fresh made bread. side salad of either potato with leafy greens. The salad dressing is so delicious. I... More

This is a great shop run by a European Baker/Chocolatier. When they first popped on the scene it was great to see competition for Mariposa Market. If you are celebrating anything, this is the place to go for a delicious cake. Old European Charm, quaint tea room great food. They compete against Apple Annies in Town and although excellent at... Enjoyable stop for a few treats. Lots of choices of bread, pastries, fabulous looking cakes, and truffles. Tried some almond tarts..a bit too dry, and a variety of truffles, also a bit dry..possibly sitting out too long? I would recommend some or possibly more marzipan for the pastry, and keeping the truffles fresher. Nice venue. Recommended overall.

Sorry to hear that you found some products to dry, Regarding marzipan, we tried to introduce it to Orillia, but the clientele did not seem to have such a great appetite for it, and therefor we decided to go with what our customers like. Hope to see you again. More
