Had a quick hot dog and french fries at this stand. I love that it has been around forever, but the food is just average... and the prices are average.

This is an old destination that all the locals love. It has not changed in 50 years and they keep it that way. It is right beside Couchiching Beach Park. Check out that rating too and it is obvious why we all love it.

The french fries were nice and hot, but I found them very starchy/potato"ey". I don't put salt on my food, but the fries needed something to be palatable. The hot dog was all right, a little too overcooked. The can of pepsi was good, lol.

I've been coming into Orillia, by boat or by car, for over thirty years. I go into Orillia, many times JUST to go to French's. What's not to like? The food is good(it IS a hamburger stand, afterall), it's a historical site(and bright yellow at that) and allows one to connect to the simple life, ties in well with the... More

The land Frenchies is on is owned by the city of Orillia. It was leased to the French family for a period of years and that lease is up. The city has deemed that Frenchies will be demoloshied or moved. But if it is moved it will be demolished. It has been where it is for over 80 years. We... More

this waterfront landmark has good food..fries are great, burgers, dogs. Sadly, I hear their lease is not being renewed, and the building has been deemed not saveable in its current condition.. and once they are closed the City has plans for that part of the waterfront. it will be torn down.....too many amusement parks and shacks like this have disappeared... This place has been here for 80 years and is a cultural icon to Orillia. It is however in need of some renovations and the food should be a lot better considering its presence in the park. The food is average with a few really good items. Makes me think the owners have no interest in the place or perhaps... More

For a stand thats been around for many years, has anyone not told them yet that frozen bagged fries suck! When I go to a french fry stand I expect fresh cut frys, very disappointed . Was better off going to Mcdonalds and ordering value menu frys and saving $ 4 dollars

French's has been at the park for over 80 years. It still has that old time feel of getting ice cream at the park. A perfect place to grab a drink or snack while enjoying the park.
