Had lunch here with the kids. Lobster sandwich was the best we had in the town. Food was quite good, nice presentation, small portions though. The service was not great, everyone seemed new, but it was fine. Would return.

The cafe is a fine reward for trekking through Kingsbrae Gardens. Emphasizing local ingredients, it offers better-than-average luncheon fare. Try the strawberry-tarragon cocktail. Service is attentive and friendly. Gift shop is standard garden fare, although the chance to buy wool from the gardens' alpaccas is...More

I was confused at the "cream tea", being used to a Devonshire one, but this was beautifully presented with a selection of small cakes, & small scones with cream & jam. The service too was excellent. Jacki Lewis, Tiverton. U.K.

My friends, family and I have eaten here many times and the value for money is truly outstanding. Eat inside or outside, have a game of croquet and enjoy the gardens, ducks and sculptures.I can't even imagine a better seafood chowder!
