We had a great lunch, with terrific food and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, situated right on the waters edge.

Stayed for a night and enjoyed dinner, breakfast and lunch here. Amazing views from the room and finally a good mattress! (for some reason, Norwegian people must really like ridiculously soft mattresses but it's definitely not something I prefer). Food was great, they had a...special, homemade stone-cooked pizza when I arrived. Open kitchen gave the whole thing a nice and warm atmosphere. Multiple options for breakfast, a lot of them sourced from local providers (eggs, cheeses, etc.). And what truly made the experience great was the staff. All of them very nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating. If I ever come back, I will definitely visit again!More

I was having lunch in Holmes Lofoten restaurant two weeks ago and I was in love with the place, the meal and the staff. The restaurant is situated in an amazing place with views to the bay. You can have lunch inside or outside. Inside...,the restaurant looks so beautiful, nice style and with all the details to make a good environment. The personal of the restaurant are really Kind, nice and they gave a very good service. the food was excellence, I took the cheek beef and it was really delicious. I recommend to stop there if you are traveling around Lofoten zone or if you want to have a lovely dinner with someone. They have rooms also that looks so beautiful with the bay views. I will come back again soon.More

Super charming spot. Menu was small but it was positively delicious! Had the baked cod with veggies and lamb chops. Everything was cooked perfectly. Loved the veggies. The garlic chive butter that is served with the bread is so nommy. Exceeded all of our expectations....Service was brilliant. The place is a little hard to find because there are no signs from the parking lot. Basically just make your way down.More

Hubby and I ate here for dinner several nights ago. We had made a booking with reception, but when we arrived to the restaurant there wasn't a table reserved for us. The temperature of the restaurant was freezing so I had to go back to...my cabin and get my down jacket. We both ordered the fish and we were both very disappointed with our meals.....and they weren't cheap! The service was average as was the food, and we felt a little underwhelmed with our restaurant experience.More

This restaurant has combined old and new decor in a very good way, which provides a nice atmosphere. The menu is not large, but the dishes combine raw materials from local producers in a very successful way, like fish, shrimps, cured meat and cheese. This...gives a very tasty meal. The staff is very friendly and provides good service. I recommend this restaurant.More

Perfect mix of local seafood with a great location and view. The starters and main course was great, the desserts were not as expected and did not include any local alternatives. The service level was unfortunately not as excepted. The restaurant and the place is...a tourist destination and not authentic anymore, however I liked it. Ask for a table by the window.More
