We were in the back and still got good service, steaks generally good but just not great I’d say. Not a particularly memorable meal I’m afraid Rob

Went for lunch with family. We all had kobe burger. It was fantastic. Great flavors and loved the bun it was served on It is big and a little hard to eat but worth it. Great service but we're only ones there. Very clean and...nice newer restaurant. Myst place to go and get kobe burgerMore
Met some family there for lunch one Saturday. First time ever, at a Sawmill restaurant. Upon driving up, the place appeared to be closed, and there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot, but then I could see a light on inside....We actually had a really nice lunch with a couple of drinks. Food was very good and good-sized portions. I would go back again.More
We had supper here. I had the prime rib and it came with a big Yorkshire pudding. I was able to substitute the potato for more veges. All had good flavour. My husband had a steak sandwich meal and it’s was cooked as he wanted....Service was pleasant and timely. Expect to pay at least $22 for a supper entree. You can feel comfy wearing jeans here, but it’s more of a place to dress up and have a nice meal out.More
Picked up some food and had to stomach the fact that a steakhouse cooked a less appetizing beef sandwich than one could purchase for a third of the price should they choose to “think Arby’s”. The only decent components of the meal either came from...a package, or we actually re-cooked ourselves. It’s not about picking it up vs eating in, it was simply awful and made by someone who doesn’t care. The young woman that assisted me up front was helpful, polite and super friendly. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was an absolutely disappointing mess. If I wanted to waste more time than I did picking it up in attempts to garner something positive from the decision to eat here I’d’ve gone in to let someone know, but it looked pretty clear that whoever was keeping the kitchen open in that fashion wasn’t about to start caring on our account. Better luck next time. I’m thinkin’ Arby’s.More
This trip to the sawmill was once again featured with excellent food and amazing server. This place is always consistently good!
Went with family and had great meal. Service was good but a little slow. Very nice interior because it is new. Fairly busy but should make reservations . A must to go to especially steaks
Music was too loud, main course came (steak) but the vegetables came about ten minutes later and were undercooked. Found it pricey for the amount of food. The decor was pleasant. Visited once and that was enough.
My family had different meals from the menu. The prime rib was a hit. Will definitely stop here again and would recommend that you do as well
Had supper at the sawmill, food and service were both excellent. Nice touch including yorkshire pudding with the prime rib!
Seriously the best Sunday brunch in town, so many options, the BEST waffles, and amazing service. I bring all of my friends because everything is consistently great. Crystal is one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had and the manager is so awesome. They remember...the loyal customers and always have smiles on their faces. It’s always a pleasure to go there.More
Went for Sunday brunch, it was great. They had a very extensive food selection and the eggs benedict cooked on order were great. We would definitely go again.
Was surprised to find this restaurant almost empty on a Friday night at 630. It may have been that people thought it was closed because the sidewalks didn't look like they had been shoveled in a few weeks. Got in and the hostess seemed rattled....Not sure if she was new, so we'll let that go. I really wish when servers/hostesses are being trained that they were taught that calling a group of ladies "guys" is just annoying. How hard is it to say, 'ok ladies, let me take you to your table', versus, ‘ok guys, follow me’. Top 10 pet peeve. Sat, and were greeted immediately. I really wanted to watch the Olympics, and the server accommodated straight away. Bar tender changed it back at the by the end of our meal, but we were almost done anyway so no bother. We didn't feel like appetizers because we were all having good sized meals, so we ordered straight away. One of us asked for Prime Rib well done…..Now I'm not going to make a big deal out of this, but Prime Rib is typically done to a certain doneness, so telling me that you have prime rib ready at all doneness’s just makes me angry. After I suggested she find out what the prime rib was done at, to be sure well done wasn’t a problem (knowing if the ends were gone they’d have to accommodate a different way) she expressed that it was likely the end piece the guest would be getting….. Good recovery on her part. I ordered a baseball cut sirloin and asked if the kitchen wouldn’t mind resting my steak. She looked at me like I just spoke gibberish. So again, it’s a steak house, the staff should know what resting a steak means, and why a guest might want that. I won't get into the importance of resting a steak cut this way is important, but it is. The meals themselves were ok. The temperature was lukewarm if that, but the flavor was decent. Dessert was not great. We had brownie sundaes and bread pudding. The sundae was disappointing. More sauce than anything and the brownie was literally as hard as the glass it came in. The bread pudding was very bland and overly sweet with nothing to balance it. Not sure if I’d have dessert again. Couple points to make. 1. The staff need to be trained that you shouldn’t put the lip of a jug onto the lip of a glass. You can cross contaminate glasses from as simple as a cold to as bad as a cold sore by doing this, plus it’s against restaurant health regulations. 2. There is literally nothing more frustrating and ridiculous than being asked if you want a refill on water. LIKE, IT’S WATER……from a tap. Please just fill it up and I’ll drink it if I want to. And fill up everyone’s glass. I’ll tell you if I don’t want any more when I decide that time has come. Overall, I would probably go back, however it would be beneficial for the staff to get some more in depth training on service etiquette and general mise en place.More
The staff was fantastic and their Mediterranean flat bread, oh. My goodness the best ! Told all. Y friends about it . Now we are planning a linch there for them All to try it !
It is a fancy restaurant with pretty good service. But definitely does not worth it. Average around 40 dollar per person. So I was expecting the best cuisine in town. Would not be back paying this much.
