We wanted to do Sunday brunch but did not want to be in a queue nor a buffet nor loud music. I decided on Le Forain. Great choice. Made a reservation, just to be sure. The decor is quite unusual and interesting. It's an old...More
We go twice a year to Gatineau and had never been to this restaurant. There are many rooms and we we're in a quiet room. It's important these days because most of the restaurants are very noisy. My husband chose the duck Club Sandwich served...More
We had the wild boar rib special which was fantastic. Started with a mesclun salad that had a nippy and tasty dressing.
All excellent. Good service. Atmosphere is bistro like and a little loud
Would go back again any time

The spinach crepe was the best crepe we have ever had. The renovation and atmosphere is very unique, almost like a mini theme park when you go inside. Service was friendly and helpful.
A group of 6 left a rsv booking on the phone . The voice message was only in French. We showed up to a closed restaurant. Everything looked the same [incl outside chairs, tables, blackboard menu exc for a small written sign on the front...More

It was our case for two weeks between 24 july and 8 august.
