The moment we arrived, it was quite apparent that we weren’t welcome. The waiters barely made their presence known to us, it took the longest time to take our order, and even longer for our food to arrive. The staff continuously glared at us in...an intimidating, uncomfortable way and it was clear that it was because the group was largely black. Such behavior was completely unprofessional and downright appalling considering we were all paying customers. Rather than resort to passive aggressive tactics, at least have the gall to speak your mind. But with maturity of children, I can see how that might be a challenge.More

Went for a pizza after work. Pizza was tasty. Service was excellent. Vibe was good. Quiet enough to have a conversation yet noisy enough to create an atmosphere.

Overrated busy place especially at lunch with all the office workers. Pizza ok, very wet crust, they should take lessons at Anthony's in Ottawa! Pizza Tropicale for how it was described in menu was bland with few shrimps and small... unsatiated... left hungry. Sorry Gatineau!

We walked to this great little place from the Four Points Sheraton (about a 10 minute walk). Lots of French was being spoken but the menu was in both French and English and our waiter spoke both. We got a few pizzas and the lasagna....Both were exceptional. The chocolate mousse was very good.More

This restaurant rated so well I tried it but the food was terrible. Go down the street to Bistro Cazza Pizza on corner or Laval and Victoria instead.

No wonder this restaurant gets good reviews! The space is comfortable, service is attentive, food is very good, with moderate wine prices. We ordered the Zorba salad....a very generous serving of romaine lettuce chocked full of assorted ingredients. We shared the Vegetarian Pizza. Liked the...thin crust and appreciated that the whole top of pizza was covered with toppings. Wine by the glass was very reasonable....$7.00 and up by the 6oz glass. A great neighbourhood restaurant.More

Was recommended pizzaza but a GOC colleague who worked in the area. Our group of 5 all ordered pizza - all different kinds and they were all delicious. Crust was perfect - the very definition of thin crust is embodied in this place perfectly. The...ingredients all tasted fresh and the sauce and cheese are delicious. Highly recommended.More

Music great is great and the patio is so much fun. We ordered two bottles of Canadian and tipped the bartender a buck. I always check my change cause I have the habit as a coin collector. Purchased two shots of tequila left the dollar...and the silver. Bought two more Canadians and the bartender on the patio who has the short dark hair and is considerably shorter than the grey-haired bartender looked at me and said "make sure you tip" Hahaha are you kidding me? I always tip.More

"Without Prejudice and In My Opinion" What a really nice place in the old downtown area of Old Hull in Gatineau. It's on Laval street which is blocked off to traffic making the area a mini street mall with a lot of patios. This place...has gourmet pizza with many many interesting and awesome toppings. Also it has a great salad selection. The atmosphere is really nice where you can come in and have a meal or find a cozy spot to enjoy a few drinks. The service is outstanding and very quick (and organized) even with the large group of 15 people I was with. I would have provided a full rating of 5 if the prices were a little lower. I felt the prices were expensive for food items but in fairness, on price the very good selection of beer was reasonably priced. An added note: Lots of Vegetarian options.More
