Also good, always fresh. They do a good job changing the menu up every now and then. Perfect venue for any and all occasions, kid friendly!

Best Sushi ever. Highly recommend the Tuna Bomb, House Salad & everything on the menu. You won't be disappointed. All the staff are on point, the ambiance is legit & the drinks are great.

I was suprised to hear that that there was a Japanese place in Fernie and I was warned about the lines but still decided to wait to see what the deal was. The food is good but not the best I've had. A lot of rolls on the menu (not my favorite), but the creativity in them was nice. Service... More

Really good westernised Japanese, has some great flavours and good menu. Is very busy but defiantly gives a feel of eating in Tokyo, go with no time constraint and don't be in a rush and you will really enjoy it. Sake choice wasn't great but for Fernie still had enough.

Very busy place. Opens at 5pm but you need to be in line by 4:30. Small dining area but deck in summer will double space. Sushi nigiri was very fresh. Not the most expansive menu just the common favorites. First Japanese restaurant with no Japanese employees. Staff were great.

Great little Japanese restaurant in the mountains. This place works and is consistently busy and often you will have to wait but it has always been worth the wait. The busyness adds to the ambiance of the place. The food is fresh and well presented and they have some unique dishes which we always try. We have tried many of... More

Some people claim that Yamagoya is the best sushi in Calgary however I can't comment, not having tried all of Calgary's sushi joints. Yamagoya has served top quality sushi consistently for over a decade. There special rolls, nigiri, sashimi and tempura's are excellent. And the atmosphere offers a nice vibe with an outdoor patio that offers excellent views. When in... More

Fresh fish, great service, and cool atmosphere...the sushi itself is homogenius, it lacked moisture and the flavor profile was devoid of pizzaz...they play it safe however it is worth a stop in...but if your from California or Japan don't get ur hopes up.

Locals said this was "THE" place to eat sushi in Fernie.....wasn't sure what to expect but was so pleasantly surprised. The place is small - don't be surprised if you have to wait - but it was so worth it! If you're a sushi lover in Fernie....go here!
