Each year my brothers and I take an annual road trip to a place we have not visited. This year we focused on New Brunswick and spent the majority of our time exploring some of the smaller towns. Upon entering New Brunswick we passed through Edmundston and were looking for a place to have lunch. Cafe Lotus Bleu had some excellent write-ups and we decided we would go there. We could not have been more pleased. I had an excellent sandwich with falafel, and my brother had some superb Dhal soup. I lived in Nepal for many years and the Dhal soup at Cafe Lotus Bleu was as good as any Dhal soup I had anywhere else. My other had a large salad. We left satisfied in all respects. This is a very warm and inviting restaurant and if you are seeking a home cooked meal this is the place to go. I would definitely return again given the quality of the food, and the warmth of the staff.

Needed a coffee stop on a long drive so stopped in here after quickly browsing positive reviews, easy to get to & park off the main highway and WELL WORTH the stop. This is the best coffee I’ve had in my road trip across 10 provinces. I was very happy to have some gluten free options as well. I’d highly recommend!

We stopped in to pick up a latte, a chai and some muffins on our way out of town. ALL Excellent! The service was exceptional. We did not have lunch but regret it cause everything looks so tasty and nutritious.
We will come back for sure.

I used to really enjoy this place but I now find the food to be of a lesser quality and the kitchen staff to be temperamental (don't get me wrong,, the food is still decent,, but it used to be outstanding). I think that they do a good job with vegan food. But - for this area - I do find it to be quite overpriced.

Hi Rustyko! i,m sorry to hear about your recent experience. Hopefully you gave us a good review when you thought we were outstanding! ;-) I encourage you to try us again and give us another chance. You made this review when we were fresh out of the pandemic groove. We have made it through but we are far from being out of the woods. The important thing to remember is our intention to offer the very best , always and with kind heart. (if not a smile ) Most fresh reviews of the Lotus have been really good. Perhaps it was a particularly tuff day that you came. We are only 2 sometimes 3 behind the counter and we have to serve many waves of clients. As for the price, not sure if you have noticed the inflation lately? well...even in areas like this one! With kind regards!

I have lived in five provinces in Canada and have never found a place as amazing as this! Great vegetarian food and as a tea lover, great options. The owner is a sweetheart, and amazing at what she does. On my last visit, had the falafel sandwich and date square, amazing. I wish there was a Lotus Bleu in my neighbourhood.

Healthy place to stop for a quick lunch or a snack. Food was delicious. We tried the BLT and the veggie-pate. Both are definitely worth a try. Highly recommended if you want a veggie/healthier option while in Edmundston.

From quality coffee choices to St Viateur bagels (from Montréal), this is an excellent choice. People team is wonderful and soups and meals are perfect. Sit outside option as well.

My wife and I stopped here on our way from NS to Ontario for lunch. The food was delicious and quickly prepared. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We both had dal soup and a falafel sandwich. We hope to be able to stop in again on our way home. Thanks for a great healthy lunch

Having done the trip to Ontario from the east coast and vice versa too many times, I am now completely excited to do it again soon thanks to the wonderful food at Lotus Bleu. As a vegetarian, I am so grateful to have found this spot. My husband loved his Dahl soup and I loved my falafel sandwich with salad. Chocolate banana muffin was outstanding and my husband let me eat his chocolate chip cookie after I devoured my own. Can’t recommend a stop here enough. Made our day of travel so much more interesting and yummy!

Great friendly vegetarian cafe in Edmundston which we stopped off at making our way through. The lasagne and falafel sandwiches were particular hits.

Wow! What a nice spot in Edmundston. Friendly and quick service. The veggie dough sandwich was tasty! The mokaccino was one of the best i have drunk in my life. Definitly a must stop!

We read the TripAdvisor reviews and decided to try the Lotus Bleu Café for breakfast. It is as advertised. Excellent food, friendly service and walkable from the Four Points Hotel. I'm not sure I can add much that hasn't already been said, except to say that if we are ever back in Edmundston we will definitely eat at the Lotus Bleu Café.

We visit family in Edmundston regularly. I had never been to Lotus Bleu before and I can say that from today forth, this will be our only destination for coffee and healthy eats; thanks to a very friendly staff, quality products and easy going ambiance.
