My wife and I stopped in to The Pirate twice while in Edmunston. The first time she had breaded shrimp and I had a lobster roll with fries. We both really enjoyed our meals. When we returned a few days later, we shared the shrimp....It really is good quality food, especially for fast food. It is located as part of a Shell station so it is easy to miss and is connected to a Tim Hortons.More

the worst expensive fish and chips plus they got balls when they hand you the debit machine as it asks for a tip all in all my 16 dollars would have been better spent across the road at st,Hubert

Lobster roll was made a little different than I’m familiar with, but it was ok. Burger is messy but tasty. Fries are frozen. Tiny little beverage cups as well. Service was fast and friendly.

While not the best Lobster roll ever, for fast food it was pretty darn good. Enjoyed our lunch and the staff were great. 😊

Le Pirate was recommended to us and while it was quick and convenient, the quality was just average. My crab salad was a lot of bagged lettuce salad and a half a cup of a fairly bland crab salad. After spending three weeks in Atlantic...Canada and eating chowder almost daily, this was unremarkable. Might have been better off ordering the fish and chips. Fine for a fast food fix, but don’t get your hopes up.More

We live i PEI and are blessed with an abundance of excellent seafood. This place comes highly rated but for us was just soso. The chowder was good but just average. A tad too salty with some good shrimp and bay scallops along with part...of a small lobster claw (not terribly tasty) to garnish the top. It is served with a prefab cellophane wrapped white bun - far from impressive. Be aware also that this restaurant does not offer table service. You go up to acounter, place your order, pay and wait for your number to be called. This restaurant is located in a service centre.More

On our annual stop in Edmundston, on our way home, we found a new little gem. The Pirate, a true pleasure to find. With options beyond Seafood for my wife ,like chicken fingers and poutine. It was a win for both of us. The chower...was superb, tasty, filling and warmed the soul. Make an effort and stop in for a bite.More

Good stuff. My Lobster Roll was done well. I brought some to my Aunt and she loved the fish as did my Grandmother and our family friend.

Discovered this place on our way to New Brunswick. Tried the regular poutine, the lobster roll and the crab roll. Just delicious!! Perfect spot to stop while on the road. The only thing missing are more tables to eat outside.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way from Montreal to Charlottetown PE. We ordered the Pirate Platter to share (one pc fish, mixed scallops, shrimp, clams & fries w/tarter sauce and coleslaw.) All of the dish was well cooked, especially the scallops and...fish. Tarter sauce was really tasty too! Very fast service, and the counter attendant was even thoughtful enough to give us an extra plate since we were sharing. I highly recommend this place as an easy, and delicious stop in your travels!More

If you're travelling the TCH and looking for something different from the normal fast food joints, this is a great place to stop. Located in same building with Tim Horton's and a convenience store, the kids were able to get their snacks and my husband...and I got some "real" food (I had chicken strips and he had the lobster roll). Chicken strips were nothing fancy but were better than another fast food burger. My husband thought his lobster roll was pretty good. We've added this stop to our list for stretching and getting some good food while on the road.More

Good food, but ripping off customer by charging higher prices than on menus! As I complained got told it’s the tax. Last visit here. Sorry for being a returning customer all years you are open, not anymore.

This joint is in between a Tim’s and gas bar. Breakfast was quick and good for the price. It is right off the highway. I would go there again.
