The calamari and salad were fine but the main dishes were at best ok (lamb shank), the steak overcooked accompanied with soft fries, the filet de dore was not fresh and overcooked on a tasteless bed of rice with undercooked buttered vegetables.

The restaurant itself needs some work. It is very drap and unappealing. I get that it is a bistro but a little TLC would do wonders. We started off with appetizers of fried calamari, very good but portion very small for $23.00. Then there was...the escargot provençale gratiné with goat cheese and mozzarella which was very good. We both had the jarret d'agneau braisé a la biere with pureé de pomme de terre. The lamb was tnder and fall off the bone as it should be but there was not a stitch of a sauce with it. A braise of any kind should have a sauce. The potato purée was too thick and heavy, almost mealy and both the lamb and potatoes would have benefited with some sauce on the plate. The service was decent considering that there was only one server for both the terrace and the dining room. I would give this place another chance.More
Newly renovated, recently was sold to a new group of owners. Excellent chef, friendly partner that works on the floor and adorable lady partner running around with the smile. Bring your own wine, classic French food, huge portions. We'll be back!
Forget trendy, or urban, this is a classic, you want quality French cuisine served the traditional way this is it. I can’t remember the last time I saw ‘Cassoulet’ on the menu, as soon as I saw it I had to try. Even convinced my...friend who had no idea what it was. We were not disappointed, excellent Cassoulet, made me think of Carcassonne in France where I first enjoyed this dish. My friend took advantage of the bring your own wine to bring a good wine from St Emilion. A perfect evening...More
We have try the veal liver with raspberry vinegar it was good but to my taste too much vinegar. The service was very good and they have a very nice terrace
another excellent meal here. I had veal kidney in mustard sauce with root vegetables. My spouse had penne arrabiata . We both had house salad which is bland at this time of year and needs a bit more dressing. Service excellent as per usual.
The staff is great, they have a great variety of meals from meat to fish and pasta. They also serve special meats and duck. Good choices of 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. You have to bring your wine if you want to...have some.More
We went for muscles on a Friday night. It's important to me that they are fresh. The waitress said they just received a 100 pounds that morning. And fresh they were. You can choose different sauces (mine was blue cheese) and they were delicious. The...menu offers a lot of other classics as veal liver, rib steak, salmon steak, shrimp and pastas. Prices are reasonable and the best part is you can bring your favorite bottle of wine. There is a nice terrace outside, with wind protection. The service is very good and the staff friendly. We will go back for sure.More

When we first drove up to this restaurant, it looked hidden and overshadowed by the clinic beside it but once we entered, I was enchanted by its charm. My mother and I were looking for a special supper after being months apart. It was a...beautiful evening and were invited to sit on the lovely terrace. My mother preferred eating inside and this was fine with me. I was surprised that there was no air conditioning. I, for one preferred it since some restaurants put it too high. My mother had eaten here before and talked enthusiastically about tasting kangaroo for the first time and loving it! She urged me to take the same but I decided to have the elk (Wapiti). It was the best meal I had in months! Elk can be complicated when it comes to its preparation because it is an extremely lean meat. This restaurant made it a masterpiece! The meat was so tender that it melted in my mouth. What I especially liked about this restaurant was the fact that they weren't taken aback when I explained that I was allergic to dairy products. They happily made changes, giving me a wonderful meal! I really appreciated their efforts and will surely be returning. Something else I enjoyed was the fact that we could bring our own wine making it easier on the wallet. The service was laid back and extremely welcoming. We didn't feel rushed and the atmosphere was a very peaceful one.More
a nice b.y.o.b. restaurant with pasta and mussels. We both had pasta as all the mussels were sold out . Waitress said if you call to reserve a table and want mussels then specify and they will hold mussels for you. Meal was good, nice...atmosphere, decent price. Parking can be difficult.More
But that is all it did. The service was slow and atmosphere was stuffy. They really cram the tables in. I had the raclette to start and it was boring and lacked flavour. It was just melted cheese over cut up ham lunchmeat. The mussels...were over cooked. All in all it did the job of cutting my hunger and was cheap because it's byob. Wouldn't go back. The experience was flat!More
We went for dinner last night and after reading some reviews, we chose this restaurant. Bringing your own wine is really a selling feature. The place is really quaint with white table clothes and excellent service. Our food was very good. We had the mussels...with blue cheese, and the peppercorn steak as well as Escargots.... It was all very nice. I would recommend you making reservations as the place was packed, and we happened to get lucky....More
We found our new favorite go-to in Saint Sauveur; we visited it 3 days in a little over a week- there is no comparable BYOB in the area. The ambiance of the restaurant is really quaint and homey. The service is wonderful and prompt. As...for the meals, wow, what a treat! During our 3 visits, our group of 5-6 tried a large array of dishes from the menu and we weren't disappointed with any of them ( to name a few: 2 LBS!!! of mussels with a side of stellar homemade fries, seared salmon topped with a flavorful tarragon creme fraiche, pork filet mignon wrapped in bacon with a maple glaze). Now that your mouth is watering, do yourself a favor, grab your fave bottle of wine and GO!More
We made a last minute reservation at this restaurant. Glad we did!!! The place was full so reservation is a must. The restaurant is cozy; food was excellent! The prices was very good also and on top of that you can bring your own wine!!...Very much enjoyed our evening! Will go back!More
