I've been over before covid and we went back the second day restaurant were open and its still good. Drink and menu is well diversified. The service is very good and friendly plus the got a store were you can buy local beer, meat and pizza.

We went there twice in May 2024, breakfast really very good and very good service but the next day during the aperitif on the terrace we chose the beer tasting board, the waitress was not able to identified which beer was which so she decided to bring our glasses to her nose to smell, phew! I thought she was going to take a sip to taste it. 🤔🍺

The atmosphere was fun, especially with the window seats. My kids all enjoyed their meal. The wine and micro-brewery beer were outstanding. We had the Tomahawk steak, and it was very good indeed! Perfectly done and extremely tasty. Expensive meal, but we left satisfied.

We went to dinner yesterday. The food was good but the service... The soup starter was way too salty, and we brought this up to the waitress as a constructive comment. She suggested that our point of view was not relevant because the other customers had not said anything about it (said 3 times in fact). When we finished the meal, we thanked her saying that it had been very good, and in a cheeky and sarcastic way, she asked us if the main meal had been too salty, with a contemptuous look that more is. We said to ourselves that given the soaring prices in restaurants, if there is not this little extra, this complicity with the people serving, this mutual respect, there is no longer any point in going at the restaurant.

THE restaurant SO SO s of St-SO(veur) le St-Sau too often disappointed to have been a customer(, I'm not a tourist) believe me that the portion versus the price you don't come back, I tried several dishes to encourage this place but nothing to do This bar relies on representation with little content, the sangria rosé of grapefruit juice, it was bitter yark ,and don't go tell them it's you that's the problem. There are other places where you can eat your hunger in the area with a better atmosphere where you can hear yourself talking , in the evening if a singer, but clearly less than before , it may be interesting but still , it will be only you who will make your evening with your friends (is) a beautiful evening not the place ... We walked in relatively early on a Saturday night and even though there were several empty tables they told us they were full and we couldn't even wait for a table. When we asked if they could recommend another restaurant they said they didn't know the area. Strange because we're are on vacation and have only very positive experiences in Quebec until this.

As in most restaurants you can always create a combination of dishes to eat without meat, here you can find good salads, soups, satay, chickpeas, vegetarian burgers, grilled vegetables etc... This restaurant is a Pub with excellent Steaks, tartars, fish, burgers, squid, poutines, foie gras etc... Everything is homemade, you can even buy butchers, pizzas, desserts etc... in the small butcher's store.
The atmosphere is incredibly magnificent, live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday... The service is truly impeccable and warm!

The restaurant has a branch at the Val-Morin Golf Club. The cooking is horrible; only warmed up. The fish and chip has a hard crust like a dry biscuit, the burger is pre-cooked and microwaved, just like pizza. If you are going to play golf at this beautiful course, consider going to eat elsewhere.

We stopped in this resteraunt while we were in the region on our Canadian vacation, the owner was amazing and very knowledgable. The craft beers were great and a good selection for every ones palate.(Dare I say probably the best craft beer I had while in Canada!)
The food was absolutely out of this world! My partner had his first Poutine and I had the French Onion Soup! I have never tasted anything like it! It was definitely up there with one of the best soups I’ve had!
We will definitely be back!

Honestly was very dissapointed when we showed up to eat before 8am, and thier website said they could take me in at 8:15pm for reservations... but the front service girl asked the bartender if they could take us, and he did the cut the throat symbol to her, and she had to come back to us and say " the servers are too busy to take us "...... ummm okay, it's a long weekend and the weather is nice, the streets are full of people looking for a nice night....just seemed ridiculous to me for two people, not 10 people looking for drinks and a meal.....considering they closed at 9pm..... anyways we left and ended up finding a AMAZING restaurant that took us in for dinner, and when we left 2 hrs later that pub was STILL OPEN AND PUMPING OUT MUSIC AND DRINKS and we watched people trickle in for service... so not too sure why we got turned away before 8am, but we thank the man behind the bar that made the decision for us, because we will absolutely 💯 not recommend this place, nor will we come back here and try to eat, we will let everyone we meet know about the professional decisions he made and u professional that was. At the very least, they could have had a sign out saying they were full...we get it. But to wait in line to see the ridiculous hand movement across his throat was pretty embarrassing. Could have shown a little more class then this to paying customers. 🙄

Their juicy IPA was very good; their wine selection wasn't bad; and the staff was helpful in recommending the beer we chose.
The bison burger was really tasty as well as the regular burger.
It's a busy spot... for good reason. Good location, plenty of space, restaurant side separate from the "bar" side. And they have a small stage for live music, although it was quite loud. But some folks like that volume. At least the windows/doors were all open.
It looks like the breakfast would be a good thing to try the next time we're in town.

A very nice breakfast, definitely one of the best
in St Sauveur.
Try the Eggs & Bacon or Sausage, comes with
fruit, a smoothie shot, a small pot of potatoes au gratin, and your choice of a toasted baguette
with fresh made jam.
