If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Saint-Sauveur, look no further than Lola 45. This chic rustic restaurant, located right in front of the church, brilliantly combines charm and elegance in a warm setting. As soon as you step outside, the cosy bar invites you to relax before discovering a menu of modern and refined cuisine. My wife and I had a lovely meal here this evening at this highly popular restaurant. She had the tuna starter, which she loved, while I had a rather tasteless salmon mousse dish. We both had the duck, which was excellent, especially with the wine our server recommended; for dessert she had the creme brulee while I had the churros and both were very good.

Small excellent bites. Entries generally as successful. It spoils with the main dishes. Homemade cavatelli...not very hot and served with green peas and not edamanes...my spouse does not digest green peas well...so a dish that we flip. The second dish comes back rather cold and dry without too much sauce but with edamanes. My Steak...salty but salty...rub made with steak spices like Montreal whose first ingredient is salt....my requested cooking is saignate, but received medium...we turn it all over...it comes back well cooked.... Steak tartar instead... good but after 3 courses the appetite is gone. Very slow service.

I've never been a huge fan of eating in St Sauveur, either the food is meh or its expensive for nothing. Last night that St Sauveur experience changed for the MUCH BETTER. I'm extremely happy that my wife suggested to try out Lola 45. This is not a cheap eats place but I can tell you for the price you 100% got what you paid for. We started off with two cocktails, I had the kiwi Whisky sour, not very strong on the whisky side but still a nice cocktail. We then ordered the foie gras entree and it was great... so far so good, could it continue into the main meal? We then got half a dozen Oysters from PEI and they were great too! Things are still great but can it continue into the main meal? We ended up going for a serious plate for two. It was the Surf and Turf platter. Holy mackerel! Beautiful Contre Fillet and not a tiny cut... it was thick. Truffle fries in the middle and on the complete opposite of the platter, 4 gigantic Scallops. It was amazing and good thing that i barely ate during the day otherwise i wouldnt have been able to finish the platter off. My wife and I have been to many restaurants throughout the world and i have to say I wish every restaraunt we visited could be as fantastic as Lola 45. Not cheap but we got what we paid for. Thank you Lola 45!

You have to book then everything is perfectly organized. The service is fast, smiling and attentive. I loved the starter Brussels sprouts, the dish offered a multitude of flavors. The duck breast was just pink and very tender. Rice-free squash risotto was delicious. A real bistronomic! As in all Canadian restaurants, the weak point is dessert. The homemade biscuit was very good but not bitronomic. At this level of cooking desserts must be worked, original and have an artistic presentation. But I repeat, dessert is not well treated in Canadian restaurants. An address not to be missed!

We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and you could say that we are connoisseurs of food and restaurants. But I admit, the comments we had read on this site misled us somewhat. The service was good. Privately imported wine too. The starter of grilled cauliflowers was fine But what about the main dishes. I ordered sweetbreads from supposedly grilled calves. It happened in a pale beige block, very little cooked and without any sauce accompanying them. For one of the rare times in my life I had to return them. I was offered another dish. All right. I took the duck breasts. Again, no sauce. Very few vegetables and very dry meat. For dessert we took churros. They were dry and very far from what is found in Spain. Anyway, we were disappointed even if the waiter made us a good discount. We're not going back.

Our dinner surpassed our expectations. Service was exceptional and the food was a culinary delight featuring local ingredients. We were asked when we were ready for our next course to be prepared. The atmosphere was classy and subtle and the staff were all friendly and professional.

Great dinner. Warm welcome from David the owner. Very professional service. Nice wine list. I loved burgo as a starter, steak tartare was very well prepared as was chocolate churos and vanilla ice cream. By far the best restaurant in St Sauveur. I recommend it for its quality.

Good food, nice atmosphere, good service especially from the French waiter 😉 unfortunately we don't know his name. He had a few little touches that were always appreciated. We tried the tasting menu with wine and food pairing. The taste arrangements were very pleasant in the mouth. A few tables that are a little narrow that said and it would be advantageous for a 6-course meal to serve a little more slowly and perhaps offer a trou normand? We recommend!

We had an absolutely delicious dinner at this cozy restaurant in Saint Sauveur. All produce is locally sourced, and as such was so very fresh. We started with oysters, followed by salmon gravlax and scallops, then hanger steak with caramelized carrots and potato gratiné, and Cornish Hen with truffle and fois gras sauce, parsnips, and baby onions. Everything was absolutely delicious, and exquisitely cooked. The Golden Hour cocktail, IPA beer, and wine list were fabulous. Ambiant was cozy and lovely. The service was warm, friendly, and perfectly on point. Faultless!

A bustling bistro with good if somewhat rushed service on a Friday evening. Salmon Tataki, Corn Soup and Gnocchi were excellent, the Duck a bit tough. Kudos for having non-alcoholic wine on the list! Reservations essential. Very pleasant bistro vibe.

We went to Lola 45 for dinner. We had two interesting appetizers, a soup (potage) with carrots and ginger, excellent red wine, and pasta with local Quebecois escargot, followed by an interesting Japanese style ice-cream desert. Each dish was very well presented and mouth-watering. Our plates were practically clean after each serving. The servings were reasonably sized, not huge but just right. We spoke French with the waitress, but there is also an English menu, and staff speaks English with anglophone guests.

We go to the restaurant regularly and yet we return very often to Lola. Why?.... It is the ideal restaurant for a super warm welcome and what to say about dishes that are really excellent. Basically, we appreciate the general atmosphere of this restaurant and that’s one of the reasons why we return there regularly. Congratulations to the Lola team.

This was the best meal of our holiday. It wasn't just the food, but the ambience of the restaurant and the service was just perfect. We were lucky with the weather as we were able to sit on the terrace. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We tried the octopus starter due to the reviews on here, and it really was that good. I also tried a small amuse bouche of beef tatare with pecans, which was incredible. For my main i had the fish in a coconut sauce which was fantastic and my partner had the scallops whoch he described as beautoful. We shared a dessert because we didnt want to stop eating. I really wish we had another night to go back and try some other dishes, if youre near here, just try it. Its also one of the few places to open on a monday. Also, the sancerre wine that our waitress recommended was really exceptional. Service was really friendly and attentive. Also the price point was really good for the quality of the food.
