Perfect dinner

We couldn't make a same night dinner reservation on Saturday night. So just stopped by and they seated us on the patio. Was a cool night in late September but the heaters were working good. Dani seemed to be the host and the only waiter taking care of the whole patio. He was the most efficient waiter I have ever had. Our food arrived quickly and accurately, everything was so delicious. All the food, bread, steaks, veggies, potatoes, tasted perfect, and the price was very fair in my opinion. We will be back for sure!!! I told all our friends to go there too.

Outstanding gourmet food

Cozy friendly restaurant and staff with outstanding food. Staff are very friendly and fluent in english. Very accomodating for families. Menu is excellent with typical variety of dishes - charcuterie was great, escagots were delicate and delicious. Steak was very good. Pork cheeks were beautifully cooked (slow roasted) and very flavourful. Desserts are very good. You will pay well but the food warrants the meal. (main courses $35-48) Highly recommend it for a gourmet evening meal.

Extensive menu, excellent service and reasonably priced. We were on a week long family vacation (Montreal and Tremblant) and this restaurant by far was top of our list for quality and value. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating and knowledge of allergy. I had no issues after eating here. Would highly recommend

Horrible customer service

I’m here with my family to spend our vacation in monte tremblant. Went to this restaurant. Ordered food. It took one hour and 15 mins and when I complained, the owner came saying it’ normal to take that much time to grill a steak !!!! I said what about the food for the kids? It’s just a burger , he said ( you didn’t ask to bring the kids food first). I said it’s common sense and the server should know that. He said ( you should appreciate that I got you a table and we are busy tonight)!!!!! I could not believe that he’s talking to a customer like that. After waiting that long, my steak came well done while I ordered medium well. I called the waiter, he looked at it and he said yeah it is well done and we can’t do anything about it !!!!!! No apology whatsoever. Bill came, I paid ir fully and but I did not leave any tips because both the waiter and the owner were so rude. I found the waiter got pissed off because I didn’t leave a tip and he told me next time I won’t let you in as a customer. I left and couldn’t believe that kind of poor and horrible customer service. During the lockdown all these restaurants were suffering and hopeless. But after they open they don’t appreciate business I strongly don’t recommend this restaurant for any visitor It’s such a shame

My husband had the cod and I had the braised beef. The braised beef had a thick layer of bbq sauce, for some they would probably enjoy it. I found it way too sweet, essentially tasting like a giant but tender sparerib with a lot of bbq sauce on it. My husband liked his cod although found parts of it slightly undercooked. The service was fine. It's casual dining at best in my opinion.

Our food was delicious. My husband often orders a fish meal when we eat out. He commented that the ingredients/flavours in his bowl were unique and delicious. Our service was great. We ate on the patio, in the pouring rain but the setup was great. Waitstaff was really professional.

The Darquise is NOT what it was, sadly

We have been coming to the St-Georges for over 20 years. This was our first experience of it as Darquise. Unlike our previous visits, we were seated on the former "bar" side, at a high table with hard wooden stools. TV screens were everywhere. Music was pumped up on max, and light was so dim that we couldn't read the menus. We asked about alternate seating, and the maître D said it was all he had, although a table for 2 on the restaurant side freed up only 5 minutes later. The menu was redone, and featured rabbit and duck, but the raw oysters appetizer were not detached from their shells and were served with a regular fork. The escargot puff pastry was a stew of escargots with a puff pastry spear. We both had rabbit, which was delicious but the carrots that came with it were quite crunchy, or al dente as my wife observed. In short, we go to restaurants for a relaxing atmosphere as well as good food. Our experience tonight was in an expensive bar with poor atmosphere. Our waitress told us the change of name was to get away from the old bar atmosphere, but more than a name change is needed. It is still a "bar". We will not be back.

I have trouble understanding the great reviews, we both had the rib eye steak and it was fatty and grisly. French fries are like McDonald’s but maybe worse. Never again dinner for two 170 spend it elsewhere

Came here with friends on vacation because of reviews I read here. I had the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly and everything else on the plate was delicious too. Atmosphere was nice and our server was great. Highly recommend

Duck confit, do it!

Absolutely phenomenal experience dining at this establishment! After discovering our original restaurant reservation was overwhelmingly loud and small. We were fortunate to get a spot at the 2nd floor bar here. The staff were great, especially Daphne our server. We had the fried cheese and Caesar salad to start. My partner the cod and myself the duck confit. All was fantastic, the duck was melt off the bone good with crispy skin and so much flavour. The atmosphere was great for a more intimate dining experience. 100% would recommend!

excellent food, awesome service. Bar style ambiance was okay. Beer selection was acceptable though if you're a beer geek there are better beer bars in the area but this place was worth it for the great food.

enquired about modifying a scallop main, as just a few as an app. NOPE. - ok Ordered "rack of lamb". 3 chops, undercooked, with little to no spice or flavour on outside. Mashed potatoes, ok Ordered Flank Steak. Was tough and had a taste that meat was headed bad. Left most on my plate, waiter did not enquire. Fries were cold. Before dinner, kitchen burnt cheese leaving bad odour - oh well, that can happen. But again 30 min later??? Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, did not complain, as "they could not save this evening". Very expensive, very disappointing. tried to contact restaurant privately, to no avail. Servers were pleasant, cozy atmosphere. (i can get that many places)....

All around excellent! Truly superb service, frirndly staff, hometown restaurant vibe, and food that is out of this world good. We especially loved the special butternut squash soup, grilled octopus, and scallops. But, honestly, everything we tried was good! (So good that we went back a second time within the space of a few days!) Highly recommend!

Different kinds of atmospheres!

Very nice place with different kinds of atmospheres! Indeed, there is a section with a large bar and seating are, i.e., a pub atmosphere. There is also a dinning room area and a larger bar atmosphere on the second floor.

Worst service and food ever. August 3 2021

Don’t bother dining at Le Grill Saint George’s. Beet Salad and Caesar were bland nothing special. Ordered the Rib dinner,, Never got it. after an hour had gone by we asked the waiter how much longer . He avoided going to the kitchen and asking instead made his way to the outside reception area. two couples were seated after we arrived and both received their meals. We walked out. Due to poor customer service and no Rib Meal. J & M
