This place has a great winter reputation so maybe better in the winter and during non-covid times? The Raclette entree (not the wheel) was totally unsatisfactory. The main cheese fondue was too watery (yes, we stirred it). The Pierrade was okay but not at that...price. Great wine recommendation by the knowledgeable waiter. Overall not worth the price.More

Had a wonderful and fun dinning experience at La Savoie, first time eating at this restaurant. We made reservations and were seated right as we arrived. Guests were well spaced inside the restaurant which liked to see. We had the Bouillon which is a very...hot broth which you cooked your vegetables, beef and seafood in. The cooking experience was fun and relaxing as you take your time to cook your food, chat and drink wine :). Potatoes, rice and salads are also provided. Service was great, the menu was well explained and our waiter was very attentive. We will return with our family and friends in the future.More

It is so nice to be able to find a nice restaurant that serves fondue. We were so excited. I had my 2 kids who love the fondue experience and my daughter had a friend who had never had fondue before. We were a party...of 5 and we were seated at the very front of the restaurant. The decor was very rustic which I expected and found it very comfortable. What we all noticed immediately was that was zero physical distancing. The main dining area is small and all the tables are business as usual. My boyfriend had his chair back bumped right next to a diner behind him. NOT COOL! I think there may have been 9 tables in the place. All were occupied. There is no drink menu. When I asked for the cocktail menu, I was told they had a full bar. We wanted to see options. For the wine list, it was all full bottles listed but then the server said they sold by the glass. The menu seemed straightforward but when we ordered we (thankfully) were told we were ordering too much food. We ordered a cheese fondue and then a meat fondue.With each fondue came enough broccoli and cauliflower for a month. It was a waste to give that much vegetable.The cheese fondue was delicious. There was the bread cubes, broccoli, cauliflower, roasted potato and boiled potato for dipping. A little green apple would have been nice for a fresh option but we all devoured it. We then had the boullion fondue with beef and chicken. The chicken portion was much larger than the beef, but it was pretty good. The reason for my poor rating was not for the food. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The lack of physically distancing gave us anxiety, but more than that there were only 2 servers. they were busy and curt. Moreover, while preparing the tables the woman server would come and touch our cutlery and glasses. She actually put her hands on the lips of the glasses and moved them multiple time. I understand that we needed to make room but she should not be touching anyones plates/glasses after they've been place on the table. Again, NOT COOL! It's definitely challenging times for servers and diners alike, This experience left me feeling like they needed to up their game quite a bit. It was not a cheap meal and we shouldn't be feeling anxious throughout it.More
