Lunenburg gets busy and the restaurants get crowded. Secured a small table inside on an overcast day for lunch. Service was great and food came out quick! Had a lobster roll, which was different than your tradition lobster roll. It was good, but not the...best I've ever had.More

Friendly little place offering a great variety of locally sourced options for breakfast and lunch. We popped in for breakfast, it was pouring with rain outside and it was cool to be able sit and watch it hitting the docks. The coffee was great (local...Nova Scotian) & I had the Atlantic Benny which was delicious (one of the best I’ve tasted). Great spot for a snack or a meal.More

We, two indecisive weary travellers, stopped in for a quick “snack” ( not a full meal)to tie us over till supper time… the staff here were so kind and helpful, and suggested we split a pulled pork bun. It was an excellent suggestion!! The perfect...amount to ebb our hunger for a couple hours - and oohhh sooo tasty!!!! Thanks to the staff for their friendly help!More

Take the cutest town in Nova Scotia and add the best little brunch place and you will not be disappointed. The views from the deck are magnificent, so get there before it gets too cold. The food is amazing and the service is very friendly....I suggest any of the eggs benedicts. I ordered the traditional bene and it was perfectly prepared. The poached egg was just right and the bacon was thick and juicy. Just about everything on the menu is going to be a step above usual.More

Food was bland - all of our dishes. Service slow and not very friendly. When we found a hair in the coleslaw we left. Would not return.

I googled a few restaurants and the photos of the menu offerings at The Savvy Sailor captured my culinary imagination. We were not disappointed. It is well designed and inviting from the moment you enter. Not too big, not too small - like Mama Bear,...just right. Comfortable inside, decor so pleasing to the eye, AND a deck with the splendid renowned view of Lunenburg harbour. The menu is like something I would have dreamt up. Lots of tantalizing, imaginative meal choices, like my orange chilli mussels, and a well curated selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non. The peanut butter and chocolate pie is the last thing I would normally order, but it was delicious without being overly sweet, if that’s possible. My friend insisted we all try his rhubarb tart because he couldn’t begin to describe how good it was. The seats and tables are comfortable and the service is excellent. I am looking for an excuse to go back, sooner rather than later.More

Outstanding breakfast and lunch/brunch restaurant. Centrally located, short walk from most downtown inns with great view of the harbor. Excellent tasting coffee and tea. I recommend the lobster benedict.

Breakfast was very good. Service was a little slow. Didn't bother us, but I noticed the person next to us was very fidgetty. with all the shortages of staffing going on, they could have been short in the kitchen. coffee refills came often. . ..... Limited seating.More

We went here for breakfast and loved the meal. There are options including seafood (or not), and the view can't be beat. The eggy benny with salmon was great!

We had a lovely lunch overlooking the harbour. It has a beautiful patio with lovely views. Had the chowder and lobster roll. Service was a bit slow but we came during lunch rush. I would definitely recommend.

Had both breakfast and lunch here. Service, location, food all excellent. Breakfast was fresh. Eggs were a bit overcooked and so I would specify your preference (we didn’t). Chowder and zucchini sticks were both delicious, and their lobster roll looked amazing, though a bit pricey....We would definitely return.More

There didn't seem to be a lot of choices for breakfast restaurants in Lunenbrug, but the Savvy Sailor excelled. They provided a healthy, delicious breakfast and pleasant service

Perfect breakfast place. Good menu, good food, good coffee and great service. Opens at 8 am. We got there at 7:50 and there was already a line. But we were seated at a table on the deck immediately after they opened, overlooking the harbor. We...soon had our coffee - choice of regular or dark roast. Food came fairly quickly. Place was packed when we left while other breakfast paces we passed were largely empty. Not surprised.More
