Looking for a little seafood lunch after the Remembrance Day service and so we dropped in for some soup. We enjoyed the chowder and a lobster roll. The chowder was a little too loaded with potato compared to seafood, but still tasted great. The lobster...roll was brimming with hearty pieces of the reddish meat. It probably would be better served with the meat at room temperature to enhance the flavour instead of right out of the fridge. All in all a very good experience for a late lunch. The wait staff were right on the mark too.More

We stayed in Lunenburg for a night, walked around , saw the Bluenose II ship which was docked and had our supper at a restaurant in front of it. The service was excellent, the seafood chowder was so good but we found the fish &...chips ( the fish batter was oily) . However, our cousins had the pan grilled haddock which they really enjoyed .More

Server was great. When asked for suggestions gave really great info on the menu. Scallops and stew were both outstanding!

Last at this establishment when the Raptors won the NBA Championship. Not close to being that busy this evening - thank you COVID. Didn't have the waterfront view of previous visits but seated in the interesting Picton Castle booth. Still great service, but disappointed in...the Blue Rocks Fish Cakes - seemed to be more potato filling than fish. But my wife loved her Coconut Vegetable Curry on which she added chicken. Her sister had the Banker Grilled Club which she liked. The Bread Pudding desert made up so-so fish cakes. Best Bread Pudding ever. The Lemon Mousse was also good. If back to Lunenburg again for a multiple night stay, will be back, but have something other than the fish cakes.More

We made it a point to eat here based on reviews and were very happy. Excellent potato skins - was expecting 3-4 but was a whole meal's worth. 1 pound of mussels was easily double that. Will be back next year on vacation.

Nick at the Mariner King suggested this place for dinner - thank Nick. Great atmosphere - view of the Harbour…..long list of craft beers & wine…..and the food was amazing! I had the best scallops I’ve ever had and the Mrs had the seafood linguini...which she really enjoy as well! Our server was very friendly as well - making it overall a great experience! CheersMore

The tables were separated by plexiglass which made me super comfortable during COVID. Other than my view, that was the best part of our visit. Hubby couldn't really see anything through his waterlogged window on the bright sunny day. We requested drinks, first few choices...they didn't have any left. Ended up having to ask what they DID have left...on a Friday! I ordered the charcuterie. I got 5 barely toasted baguette slices with an assortment of cheap fatty deli meats. The cheese was alright but fairly bland. We realized the sauce was missing after sadly eating most of my lunch wishing we chosen somewhere else. Once it arrived, it improved the last few bites but not enough to save the day. Hubby ordered the lobster roll and enjoyed it. We didn't stick around for a second drink.More

Enjoyed the view of the waterfront from our table. Had the fish and chips which was well done and a generous portion. My lunch partner had pan fried fish (required gluten free seasoning) and could easily substitute the rice for fries.

Used to be our go to place for a meal when in town. Last two visits have been very disappointing regards the standard of all meals. I can only assume that in these difficult times they are struggling to recruit trained kitchen staff. Each meal...has been over cooked, greasy or arrived at table after clearly hanging around before being brought out to the table. The waiting staff continue to be friendly and helpful. Doubt we will be revisiting any time soon. Such a shame!More
