Went for a coffee, stayed for lunch! Mom and I shared a turkey club and a grain bowl. Both were fresh, and delicious! My latte was the best I've had in Ladysmith so far. We have been before, and will definitely return!! I even purchased 2 thumbprint cookies to take home to my grandaughter's, who devoured them immediately! !!

Bought one loaf going up island and I was so excited about how good it tasted that on the way back down I bought six loaves to eat sandwiches!!!! and have toast with jam! WOW what a nice treat. I also had lemon tarts with both visits and the... More

This is a friendly little place that caters to gluten free dining and anything I've eaten there has been just excellent. I make this place my 'lunch stop' just because the food is so good. Prior to my trip to Vancouver Island, I call ahead and place an order for gluten free butter tarts (to-go), so that I can take... More

This bistro is gluten-free. Whether you need to eat gluten-free or not, you will enjoy the food here. The display case is loaded with tempting sweets and the lunch fare is delicious.

Well worth the drive for us, from Nanaimo to Ladysmith. Fast and friendly service every time, generous portions and very fair prices. The absolute best bread anywhere; and you can buy a loaf to go, along with the huge array of irresistible pastries. Highly recommend!

Nice casual atmosphere very good soup and pastry ... very light on seasoning making for balanced flavour. Pretty good coffee too. Prices are fair.. much better atmosphere than its competitor.
