My friend and I did not eat there but did shop there. They had a good selection of BC wines and ciders as well as neat little knick knacks that were locally made. It is a cute, quirky little place. Doesn't look like much from...the outside but inside is a different story. Don't overlook this place should you stop in Field BC.More

Had 2 meals at the Side Car Cafe. Charming location, quaint settings, good food with reasonable prices. I had the curry the first day and the cheese burger the second visit. The curry was very tasty, not too spicy. The burger had a handmade patty...which was a nice treat....but it had a bit too much garlic in it which my travel companion paid for later in the day. Overall I think the Side Car is your best bet for a simple meal that won't break the bank.More

We loved this restaurant! The food and coffee is amazing! Very clean. My salad was super fresh and delicious. My sons had the turkey burger on naan bread and pulled pork bun. They said it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly, even the cook...came to ask how our lunch was! If we’re out this way again we’ll definitely be back. Prices were reasonable too👍More

With COVID-19, this restaurant is just a take-out window now, but with some nice picnic tables across the street it's still a nice stop. Prices were high for pretty basic fare - seemed more popular with the folks who were ordering from the liquor store...attached. The only other option in Field is Truffle Pigs, which is quite expensive and high end.More

Great food! The chicken burger was delicious. It’s kinda a little hole in the wall but we didn’t want to wait at the restaurant across the street. It was a great choice.

A great place to grab a quick lunch. The food was all delicious and the store was a charming little place. There appeared to be a mix of tourist and locals when we were there.

We stopped here for lunch on the way back to Banff. It’s a small, friendly cafe with good food, what more do you need! A great option, especially if you are visiting Emerald Lake but don’t want to eat at the hotel cafe.

We went to the Cafe for lunch while we were staying in Field. It has a great atmosphere- obviously a favourite with locals - and provides a warm welcome. The food was tasty and a little different from standard fare, which was nice. Lots of...things to look at while you're waiting for your food to arrive. It provided a very pleasant interlude in a very memorable day.More
