We were driving through town and Ricks was recommended by a very nice local lady so we stopped in for lunch. I ended up doing breakfast the wife had a club salad. Real ham real turkey not all processed ingredients. It was amazing to get...a big hearty meal for a super reasonable price. Kind of like finding a unicorn in this crazy world of fast food and high prices. Highly recommend this old school diner for the food the service and the price. Definately 5 starMore

Had an excellent Breakfast, and couldn't believe how GREAT the sausage Patties were. BEST I've had anywhere. Staff was very prompt with the meal, and had fun with their friendly joking. Would certainly visit here again.

Decent little diner. Nice staff. Food was average. Friday fish night is an okay deal. I would recommend for a relaxed dinner out.

We always eat in or get take-out from Rick's when we come to Creston. They are always able to accommodate allergy to mayo and dislike of onions. Never a mistake on my orders unless you count extra bacon as an error! All-day breakfast option is...great. Fries and gravy are nostalgic and taste just like the old Kmart/Zellers days.More

Great diner-style food at reasonable prices and friendly service. Great homemade soups daily. The ladies running it are very friendly and working hard to get through the pandemic but still put out a great product. We love stopping here when passing through Creston.

My dad has lived in Creston for about 25 years now and is a regular patron of The Kettle coffee group and the place in general. They have always looked after him really well, providing great food, good company and good community. During this pandemic...they have had to shut down, but not before making sure their customers were well taken care of. The wonderful staff here prepared frozen meals (home style and yummy) and offered them for sale so the seniors could continue to eat well without having to cook. My dad does not like to cook for just himself so this is perfect. On Monday, March 22, they CALLED him ( talk about customer service!), to let him know they had some prime rib dinners available and would he like a couple. He know I would be coming to Creston that day to visit and check on him so he went and picked up 2 of them. When he went to pick them up they came out with enormous plates (real ones, not takeout ones) - prime rib, potatoes vegetables, yorkshire puddings, and gravy. They told him to just bring the plates back when all this dies down. Each plate was enough that we split it and ate for two nights. Rick’s Iron Kettle is a great place and outstanding community member. We always visit when we come to town and the staff ask him when we are coming up. The food is good, home style and good value. They treat him like family, right down to remembering when his birthday is. This is a family place that takes good care of their customers, treating them like family. We could not ask for more. We are grateful my dad has such caring people looking out for him when we cannot. Love you guys and we look forward to coming in again when you reopen. I miss not being able to visit you this time.More

This is a small diner with home cooked diner style food. Not fancy but a decent meal for a fair price. Its in the industrial area. Portions are small to medium size reflected in price. We liked it for a quick bite.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on a road trip. The breakfast menu is basic but reasonably priced. I had a breakfast burrito and my wife had crepes. Both meals were fresh, tasty, and prepared to order. Service was quick and the chef.../ server was very friendly. We would recommend this quaint home style restaurant.More

We stopped in for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We both had soup - the clam chowder had plenty of clams, the other was beef barley (if I remember correctly) - it was real tasty. Had fish 'n chips (fish was good, not greasy,...not dried out). We'd eat here again.More
